   This is one of my go to places in Sonoma...always consistently good. Last night's meal was over the top. Best oysters I have had in a long time. My dining partner's paella was such a beautiful adaptation of this classic...you just have to order it to understand..it could be shared by two. I'll keep coming back!

   Super easy location on the historic Sonoma Plaza. Creative menu, excellent cocktails and always excellent service. The poke bowl and the spinach omelette are delicious.

   We had a great lunch/brunch here and were seated on the patio. Service was excellent all around, and our party of 5 each had a hard time deciding what to get to eat. This is my third time eating at El Dorado Kitchen, and I will definitely be back!

   We were very excited to celebrate my husbands birthday and they did a good job of acknowledging and celebrating with us. However, the service was terrible. Not only was is terrible for a restaurant asking $150/person - it was terrible for Applebees. We had to constantly ask the server for the table next to us for help with silverware, food, and drinks. We did not receive our drinks until 5 minutes after our first course arrived. The paella was overcooked and burnt. Dessert was mediocre and not freshly made. Overall, especially given the price, this restaurant is entirely a skip. 100% do not go here - you will be disappointed and will waste your money.

    Been there many times in the past, but not in the last year. Our mistake ... finally made it back. Rediscovered how good the food, service, and experience is regarding this gem. Do yourself a favor and don't hesitate to get the Salmon or the the Carbonara. Unique and best ever. JF
