   The salsa and chips were great. But our entrees were extremely salty. I have never tasted salty food like that. It seemed like it was anything with sauce, so enchilada and relleno. They only have one bathroom for the entire restaurant and their food score is not easily accessible.

   Delicious brunch at a reasonable price. Except, they started running out of some of the food and desert items by 1:15 pm. It's best to come early.

   I know El Torito has been around for a long time, I know because I used to eat there when I was a kid! I still do, just not so often. I need to change that! I forgot how wonderful the food is, the staff was very helpful and kind, and the restaurant was clean and very inviting! I don't know if it's only because it was the restaurant in Irvine, but I and my party enjoyed it very much!! And don't forget dessert!!! I highly recommend the Mexican Bred Pudding, and the Banana/Cheesecake Chimichanga!!!! Muy bueno!!!

   Food and service were excellent. BUT restaurant charges a 3.99 % surcharge. Terrible! Increase menu prices if needed

   The food is very well done and although has American accents (ingredients not normally found in Mexican cuisine) it is well made, presented nicely and was delicious. The hostess was very nice, our wait staff and everyone in the restaurant really made us feel welcome. Although I do not have children, I think the place is ideal for families and those with younger children especially. The margaritas are fantastic - I really enjoyed my Cadillac Margarita and my carne asada was cooked to perfection. Overall, very nice experience albeit it leans more toward Tex-Mex than true Mexican. Good job El Torito!
