   Food tasty. Service ok until we had to wait a long time for desserts and had finished coffee when they came. On the whole, a decent experience

   Food was amazing, the kids loved it! Portion sizes are really great! Especially for children & the fact there is a play area for the children it’s amazing! The staff were lovely, there was a small mix up but it was handled really professionally and calm friendly manner! We had no issues at all will definitely be coming back again!

   We really love going to elephant and castle. The staff are always pleasant, the food good and a play area which the kids love. In this instance the cooking service really let them down. Adult meals came out before the kids meals (this was even after having starters for the adults so the kids were hungry). We were told it would be 3/4 mins. It was more like a 15 minute wait... obviously they'd forgotten to cook the kids meals. Has we been told this we could have sent the kids back to play and managed their expectations rather than saying the whole time no stay as we were told it will be here in a minute. Our server did apologise when it arrived and she was very nice. However it made our dining experience very difficult as it was also our first time going with twin 10 month olds who had had enough of sitting in the high chair by that time so has to be taken out and managed on our laps for the rest of our mealtime. I'm not sure we'd rush back again as we like to go where the service will be quick due to having two young babies and this can no longer be relied on there.

   Food was cold, children’s burger was burnt and the “Mexican salad” had no avacado and about three crumbled nachos. When mentioned to staff they simply said sorry and that was it…….

   Went for my birthday. So nice and quiet. Great play place for the kids in side. Love it! Highly recommend.

   Gone downhill fast! Menu has changed and there are very little options, the favourites have remained on the menu ie Dirty Chicken/the Chicken Burger but are completely different. Service was very poor, we were basically forgotten about and had to keep reminding staff we hadnt received our food. A glass was smashed everywhere and the staff member just didnt seem to know how to deal with it. No cleaning in progress sign put up so small kids kept running by in their bare/sock feet towards play area. I used to really like this place but wouldnt go back unfortunately.

   Dear Louise; We apologise we didn't reach your expectations with our new selection of dishes. We carefully analyzed our most popular dishes and incorporated new and healthy options like the watermelon/quinoa salad, chicken schnitzel, grilled chicken burger and the burrata/tomato sandwich with great success. Our online menu and inhouse carte had been simultaneously updated, however we do recognized older items from previous guests pictures or comments online are still present as part of their reviews.    Very average food for high prices. The batter for the cod was not great, quantity of fries was scarce and 4.5 for a coke is steep. Chicken wings were decent so I recommend those if you are going (even if they are also expensive for the amount) The play area was the highlight though it's not well maintained and there is no staff supervising it at all.

    Place is nice with kids. But food was below average and prices were high.. had their signature beef burger and was left highly disappointed, it did not have enough sauce and meat was too dry. I could have made a better one at home. My wife was disappointed with cauliflower "wings" in batter as well. Dirty fries had a sprinkle of cheese and were almost the same as regular fries.. definitely more cheese was needed.
