   We went there for brunch and ordered 1. Chilaquiles- the menu had no mention of chicken in the dish but it came loaded with chicken. The menu also mentioned it came with a side of potatoes but the server forgot. Being vegetarian we asked why the chilaquiles had chicken when the menu did not mention it at all and he said that the chef decided to add it!!! The tortilla chips were soggy from the load of chicken on it. Overall very bad and would never recommend ordering it. 2. $22 for a small slice of bread with avocado and 2 poached eggs - the eggs were not poached they were completely over cooked. Not runny like poached eggs should be! The avocado was actually over salted guacamole. Very bad. The service was not attentive at all. The ambience is great and I loved the art work in the restaurant but I am never going back.

   Unfortunately, the service at Ellie's was disappointing. Past visits to this establishment have been wonderful. I'm not sure if they are experiencing what many establishments are experiencing, which is the lack of wait staff, kitchen staff, and overall shortage in staff, but it was clearly disappointing. The location as always is wonderful, along with the ambiance, great music, but staff at the bar, in the kitchen as it relates to providing entree's ordered, and just timeliness or lack thereof, in providing what was ordered. I am hoping they will address these issues. a

   Food and service excellent. The tariffs have kicked in. Price increases and no French or New Zealand wine. Lovely music for atmosphere.

   Great spot for location and quiet business meal. Shrimp was a bit off on salad but all else was fantastic. Enjoyed the quiet service and was able to hear in restaurant.

   Great tasting food and excellent service, as usual. My tenderloin tasted very good but was cooked unequally as it was medium on the top side and well done on the bottom side instead of “medium rare” as ordered … way to much cook time on one side of the beef. The same thing happened last time except my “medium rare” tenderloin order was cooked medium well to well done. Both dining times were early about 5:45 pm and there were very few people in Ellie’s. So, I suspect too much idle time and lack of focus on cooking … or Ellie’s cooks may simply not know how to properly cook beef tenderloin. Very disappointing.

   We had a lovely time at Ellie's! Our wait staff, Chelsea, was awesome!!!!!!! She asked if we were going to the theater (which we were so were on a time schedule). She made excellent suggestions on our meal selections and was attentive to our requests. While the food is on the expensive side, it was tasty. Our overall experience was excellent!

   We were there for brunch, so a much more limited menu. The redfish was excellent. Highly recommend. The rosemary chicken panini was good as well. Our server, Tanner, was very attentive and pleasant. Overall, a really nice meal.

    We had a reservation for 6:30 on a Friday and arrived on time. There were many empty tables but the hostess seated us right in front of the musicians (who were great) but we couldn’t talk. So we asked to sit at a table a little farther away and she said no - they were reserved. When we left - they were still empty. Food and drinks were great. Had salmon and redfish. Waiter seemed to be spread a little thin. So food and atmosphere were great. Staff not so much
