Thank you to everyone at Elsie’s Table. My sister and I went there for the first, but definitely not the last, time. The cocktails were wonderful, and We both ordered the chicken marsala, which was also delicious. The restaurant is cozy and welcoming - the staff couldn’t have been nicer. We plan to return again very soon. Thank you!!

This was our 3rd visit in 4 weeks and we will continue to come back. Courtney the bartender was great and everyone who works there is so friendly and accommodating. We've ordered different menu items on each of our visits and everything we've eaten has been spectacular. Can't wait to come back again soon!

In general, the food was excellent - for that, worth the visit. I had the lamb and my wife, the salmon - both were perfectly cooked and good quality. The negative (for us) was that both entrees were served with no sauce whatsoever. (I would have loved a delicious mint or fruit sauce to complement the meat.). There was none. My wife’s salmon was wonderful, but, again, no flavorful glaze or sauce to enhance the meal. Each entree was served with broccolini and carrots, which were good. The French onion soup we shared to begin was excellent - a very flavorful broth - and the dessert we shared - a crème brûlée - was light, smooth and tasty as well. Some minor negatives were that the table water was served cool, not cold and the herb (garlicky) bread was just ok. My wife liked it; I didn’t. The big negative for us, however, was that while the dining area was quite small (6 wooden tables and chairs) there was no separation between it and the kitchen entrance, and we were seated at the last table between the rooms so that the bright kitchen overheads shone directly on our table and in our eyes, and we had to position ourselves with our backs to the opening. (The restaurant should really consider a partition or curtain between the rooms for the comfort of its diners.) The wooden chair backs were not particularly comfortable either and my wife was squirming halfway through the meal. Prices were high, but comparable to what is being charged elsewhere these days - it’s just that with more attention to the customer’s comfort and the overall dining ambience, the $140 before gratuity for our meals and 2 glasses of house wine and 1 aperitif might have felt worth it. Though the service was fine, we felt the overall experience was very disappointing and we would not return or recommend, except for take out.

Well worth the trip. Finally had the chance to go. We were on the late side, 830pm but the place was still full and vibrant. Service, food and cocktails were excellent. We had the tuna tartare, salmon and chicken marsala. Noise level was the perfect mix between not too loud and not boringly quiet. Definitely on my list of must return.

After reading the reviews, I had to give this place a try. I’m upon arriving, I was greeted my name. Our waiter, Courtney was amazing. We had the grilled plate and the lamb chops were tasty. I will definitely return!
