   We always enjoy coming to Emmy Squared. Our waiter took great care with us, was attentive and spaced out our sakad and pizza.

   The absolute best gluten free pizza I have experienced!!! We drove over ah hour to try it and it was worth it! Services was great.

   Great salad (Brussels sprouts) and really good pizza! Wine was weak - no flavor. Excited to try their tequila cocktails next time. Felt a little high priced and volume was loud with a family with kids nearby. But really nice ambiance overall! Also waitress was super friendly and helpful w food came pretty quickly!

   So happy that Emmy Squared opened in Durham! Being from the City remember going to Pizza Loves Emily when it first opened. Now I have a little piece of home close by. Obviously the pizza is a must do but don’t sleep on the Le Big Matt. My girl had never been and absolutely loved it and said we have to go back was which was a given. Thankfully service was just as great as the food.

   This was our first time to Emmy Squared. We got there and were seated right away. They only have canned soda so we just had water. The waitress then explained to us what Detroit style pizza is (we didn't know). It's a deep dish style pizza, but, they cheese is the first thing to go on, and it goes all the way to the edge of the pizza, then the other toppings go on top of the cheese. Also, the pizza is square not round. Before we decided on a pizza, we ordered the mozzarella sticks. When they came out we were surprised, they were VERY long and the cheese inside was hot and stringy, which we loved. We ordered a large deluxe pizza and it was very good. The service was great, the food was great, we are glad we tried it out.

   This new spot is an import from Brooklyn with a great reputation. The Detroit style pizza is very good, including impressive gluten free offerings. The burger is also really fantastic. Drink options are limited but adequate. The Brightleaf location is casually upscale. Wait staff seems to be still coming up to speed, but overall it's a pleasant experience.

    Great service. The chicken wings were fantastic and we were surprised how much we enjoyed the shaved brussels sprouts salad. It’s pretty large and shareable. The VIP pizza and the burger were excellent. Particularly the burger. Very solid.
