It was basically a perfect night. I went with my daughter. We were set immediately. The service was good. The bar a little slow the food was delicious and so fun. We got one of those hot pots cooked it ourselves at the table. I’ll definitely go back.

FANTASTIC EVERYTHING! First time attending this restaurant with friends last night. STAFF: Greeted promptly and sat at a booth that felt like a little cave, great ambiance. Lovely music by two Fiddle players. The waitress was friendly and very attentive, we were all given fairy flower crowns made the experience so much fun. FOOD: Menu is extensive so we asked for choices between two of each dish, she gladly gave her opinion and she was right, we had the 4 tapas appetizer, Vegetarian Pastie, Braised short ribs, Portabella mushroom and Shepperds pie pastie portions were very good and all dishes were deeeeelious!. Desert was the key lime pie and peanut butter cake both yummy, not too sweet, just perfect. DRINKS: Not on the online menu but they had some awesome specialty drinks, had the Leprechaun ones a the mead flights and all were great. COST: $240 total for 4 meals, drinks, appetizers, main course, dessert and a great magical time worth very penny. Can't wait to go again and bring more of our friends to enjoy this wonderful restaurant. Thank you! :)

Ambiance was great. Live music was awesome. Staff very friendly. However, service was extremely slow given it wasn't too busy. It was over an hour from the time we ordered to when we received our food. At one point, we were told our food would be out shortly...it was another 25+ minutes of waiting - which I think directly resulted in my unfavorable food experience. My wife loved her meal (Salmon). I ordered filet & lobster ($79 bucks). I asked for the filet medium well - I tend to like medium to medium well - I usually err on the side of MW because I don't like LESS than medium which sometimes you get other places asking for Med. She asked if I wanted my steak somewhat pink or not at all. I said, I'd like some pink there. The server told me they tend to go on the more done side-and suggested I go with medium - ok sounds good. Well...when the meal came over an hour later, my filet was straight up beef jerky-something I'd expect from a janky diner. Had I asked for well done, I would considered it overcooked. While there was no fat or gristle, the cut of meat, given the price, wasn't great-really grainy. Due to the overcooked nature, also very tough/chewy. It was our anniversary, so I didn't bother to complain - I hate doing that anyway...but it was definitely disappointing given the price. IMO, given how long it took, I suspect my steak sat too long under a heating lamp, or perhaps had to be reheated from sitting so long. I got through about 1/2 of it - thankful for the good dipping sauces included that I could soak each bite in to make it actually chewable. Fortunately, the lobster, mashed potatoes and steamed veggies were great. Filet just SO subpar though. I love the overall theme and ambiance - as a local, I love supporting small businesses and I'll go back and give them another chance. But I'll probably stay away from the filet next time... They did give us a free piece of amazing chocolate cake in honor of our anniversary, so that was a nice touch.

Fun experience, staff was friendly and efficient. The food was outstanding. I had the chicken pastie pie, so good. Huge amount of chicken and the pie crust was excellent. Great little place in Placerville. Enjoy!
