   A farewell dinner for our American friend. I wanted somewhere stylish, nice food, and quiet so that we can enjoy conversations. It turned out to be perfect..! Pork cheeks was amazing as an appetiser. Squid ink linguini with vongole was really good too.

   Service was very slow, took 40 mins to bring the starters. Fish starter was fresh and nicely cooked but the prawn and avocado starter was quite tasteless. Regarding the mains the steak was not great and the 'chips' were actually fries with a lot of salt - not really my cup of tea.

   We went to Epicures for the first time as we are on holiday, renting a flat nearby (the owner recommended it). We had a casual Sunday lunch, two chilli prawns salads and a chargrilled chicken salad...all very tasty and nicely presented. Portions were perfect, we did have some fresh bread and balsamico & evoo first, both were delicious. Overall pricing was great, service was excellent, all staff were very attentive and friendly. If we lived in the area, we would definitely return.

   we sat outside and had a lovely lunch .the service was pretty slow however and we had to ask twice for milk and the bill. might just have been a busy afternoon !! wont stop me coming back though.thank you

   Went in at 11am for brunch. Looking forward to it all morning. Arrived and order taken 15 minites later. Oir food had still not arrived by 12pm. Had to go down to speak to waiter to enquire where food was. Apologised and another 15 minites later our food arrived. Food okay although veggie breakfast very very dry!!!

   Our table had been set on the dark upstairs mezzanine but as it was a beautiful day we asked if we could eat on the terrace and this was no problem and dealt with speedily. Food for four of us was good but one had gnocchi which was not as expected. It was a large bowl of fried gnocchi with a few blobs of mozzarella which had not melted so was exceedingly dry. Most was left. Otherwise a nice meal with excellent service.

    Room was uncomfortable; very draughty/. Service was slow; we waited nearly ten minutes before starter drinks were served. Food : we ordered the sea food platter; the tempura squid was incorrectly cooked.
