I came to Epilogue as a birthday celebration with my husband. I would consider myself a speakeasy enthusiast so I was very excited to try out Epilogue. The clues and journey leading up to the door were cute, but nothing over the top (no password, but rather a reservation + finding your “key”). It’s extremely well themed, intimate, and moody/low lighting. It’s quiet with modern-songs-turned-jazz playing in the background. There’s no entertainment, so don’t expect to be ‘entertained’ in any way. It’s intended for an intimate atmosphere with conversations. My husband and I came dressed for the occasion in prohibition style clothing and we were praised and complimented by the staff for embracing the vintage sophistication. The drinks are excellent and creative and different. Fun backstories and inspiration to each of them that you can read about and the server will tell you more about. There are other more classic cocktails, wine, and beer available as well. We each ordered our two drinks and were there for the full 2 hours (not rushed). We didn’t experience any delay in ordering or receiving our drinks and our server was attentive. I do wish there was more variety to the gourmet snacks included at the table - I’m thinking aperitif style snacks with olives, gourmet spiced nuts, etc. in addition to their existing snack. A small selection of items I think would really up the value perception. I appreciated the no-photos rule as it just adds to the sophistication and mystery of it all. After our visit we had a bite to eat at a Ravello bar where we ran into a manager from Epilogue who was enthused to ask about our experience. I would consider coming back here again for special occasions.

This is a fun and classy speakeasy concept. It was on the expensive side, but not outrageous given that it's at the Four Seasons and the cocktails were very creative. It was a dark, moody ambience (in a good way). We loved it and would definitely go back.

Our experience at Epilogue was disappointing, especially considering its location in the Four Seasons Resort. At $75/person + a 20% automatic gratuity, we expected more. While the concept has potential, the execution fell short. The experience started poorly, with a 20-minute wait to receive our first clue, despite checking in early. The clues themselves lacked intrigue, and the rushed pace inside the speakeasy made it hard to enjoy fully. The "no photos" policy was a nice touch for immersion, but ordering felt hurried, especially with a detailed cocktail book to explore. The drinks were excellent, thanks to the skilled mixologist. It took 40 minutes for our second drink order to be taken, leaving us just 10 minutes to enjoy the 2nd round before being told to harken back to our college days and chug our drinks because we needed to wrap up due to other, incoming reservations. Being offered plastic to-go cups for artfully crafted cocktails was frustrating for such an upscale experience. Adding to the confusion, the waiter mistakenly handed us a check meant for another table (which got service fast enough to order a third round!). When we asked why we were getting a bill, the waiter had to ask a manager and the bartender before realizing the mistake. The absence of a food menu, save for a light snack (popcorn), was particularly problematic, especially during dinner hours. Ultimately, Epilogue doesn’t justify its price point in its current state. Until staffing issues are resolved and a food menu is added, I cannot recommend this experience. One other example of everything feeling cheap -- your clues ultimately give you a key card (just like you would use at your hotel room door) to get into the Speakeasy. Apparently, $75/person isn't enough to be able to afford reprints of the cards as we were explicitly instructed to leave the key on our table when we were done. I'm not sure how they can't afford to print new key cards when the Motel 6 will let you keep your room

We had a great time at Epilogue. The service and beverages were exceptional. Although optional, we came dressed for the prohibition age and played into the atmosphere. Lots of laughs and great company. There is popcorn for the table but that’s all for food offerings. Went to Ravello’s when we finished ending upstairs for a nightcap at Capo’s. I would highly recommend making a night of it including the other spots at Four Seasons.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. The cocktails are exquisite and really demonstrate what can be done with knowledge, experience and talent. If Michelin gave out stars for cocktails Epilogue would have multiple. Can’t recommend highly enough as a brilliant experience

This is a super unique experience, great for a date. Included in the price you get 2 cocktails per person and they are very creative drinks with fun back stories. It was fun to have to find the bar. You can buy more drinks. Service was impeccable. Only complaint is the food…I thought it would be substantial tapas and it was popcorn. Unlimited popcorn but just popcorn nonetheless. Do not come hungry, come thirsty! PS no photos allowed.
