Essence is a casual restaurant that serves French cuisine using seasonal ingredients. Chef Shiro Naito opened the restaurant in 2010 to provide dishes that celebrate the essence of each season. Essence is conveniently located next to Inokashira Park and Ghibli Museum. Its spacious dining area provides tables for guests and a private room for special occasions. The menu at Essence offers themed seasonal courses. The restaurant uses organic, pesticide-free vegetables from Yoko Farms, has its fish and shellfish delivered directly from Hakodate and uses chemical-free fertilizer from Tokorozawa to grow some of its own ingredients.

初利用で4名。シェフのお話がもっと聞けたらよかった。静かで楽しめた。お料理はシンプル（シェフのスタイル？）。ただ、もう少し手の込んだデコレーションや驚きを期待しました。ですが、味、量は概ね満足。帰りは雨だったので車の手配など声がけしていただけたらよかった。

ディナーで伺いました。どれもとても美味しく、季節ごとにメニューが変わるのも楽しみです。ゆったり落ち着いてお食事のできるところです。とにかくお食事が美味しいですし、コスパも素晴らしいです。雰囲気も良いですし、私的にはかなりお薦めで、お気に入りのレストランです。また伺いたいと思います。

三鷹駅からも近く、玉川上水脇のお散歩コースにある素敵なところです。お友達とのランチにうかがいました。素敵な時間が持てると思います。大満足です。

店の雰囲気やサービスにおいて、ドレスコードなしのカジュアルレストランなら諦めがつく感じ。料理において、こだわりの素材が活かされているように感じられない。盛り付けも家庭でも出来るような感じ。以上の事から価格設定も釣り合っていないと思ってしまうほど、訪問が悔やまれる残念な気持ちになってしまった。

主人のお祝いで伺いました。お料理もとてもおいしくて、シェフの方もとても親切で丁寧なご対応を頂きました。オンラインで予約させて頂いて、用途のところに「お祝い」と記載したのですが、デザートプレートに、そのことを書いてくださっていて、主人がものすごく感動しておりました。本当にありがとうございます。主人が運転になってしまい、私はアルコールがほとんど飲めないので、ドリンクが、どうしてもソフトドリンクになってしまうのですが、ジュースも美味しいです。また、伺いたいと思っています。

今回は誕生日として伺いました。季節の変わり目に伺っています。いつも思うのですがお肉もお魚もとても美味しくまた同じ料理が並ぶことが少ないのでそれも楽しみの一つとなっています。お料理もさることながらデザートもぜひ一度味わっていただきたいお店です。
