The food was delicious and not overly seasoned. My husband had the sirloin steak and I had the shrimp risotto it was delicious. We had a crab cake as an appetizer which was good and it came with a mango arugula salad on the side. The drinks were perfect and we got the poached pear for dessert. I would definitely come back again. The service was great and we didn’t wait hours to get our food. The ambiance is sexy. And I always check out the bathrooms when I go to a new place. The bathroom was clean and quaint. I felt like it was a little pricey but not overly expensive.

Best parts of the meal were the starter salads and wine. “Sweet potato steak” was truly awful, especially for the price. Dry aged ribeye was decent, but the cook was off and the steak came cold. Sides with steak were decent but unexceptional. Red velvet dessert was terrible. Wouldn’t return.

I had a great time for Valentine’s Day. The special Valentine’s menu was good but I’ll be back to experience the normal menu. My experience was overall great and the vibes were perfect for a date night.

We couldn’t have asked for a better spot to celebrate Galentine’s Day! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was chef’s kiss—warm lighting, chic decor, and just the right vibe for a night of laughter and good food. Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely divine! Every dish was plated beautifully and bursting with flavor. The scallop, shrimp and risotto was a must-try, and don’t even get me started on the cocktails. The WTH signature cocktail was the perfect mix of sweet and strong! The service was top-notch too! From the hostess, who was ann anbs delight, the bartender and our server were attentive, gave great recommendations, and made us feel like VIPs. Whether you’re celebrating friendship, love, or just life in general, this place is a total win. Can’t wait to come back! #GalentinesDoneRight #GirlsNightOut #FiveStars

I was expecting a full menu to choose from for Valentine's Day, but we didn't have much to choose from to eat. If it wasn’t for the bad weather, we’ve had probably left. Other than that, the food was good in the service.

This place is wonderful for date night. The chef makes sure the food is perfect before it comes to your table. I will be back.

What a letdown. As someone who has followed Chef Lamar over the years, I was so excited to try his new spot tonight. I studied the menu before we got there, but to my dismay, they had a Valentine’s Day menu. First sign, advertise if you’re going to do a pre-set menu. I probably would’ve cancelled knowing it was a different menu than the one online. I was looking forward to trying the deviled eggs, beef tartare, and oxtail. But alas, they were offering a bismal salad, mediocre crab cakes, an overpriced steak and a semi-decent seafood Risotto. I will say the poached pear dessert was refreshing and light. For the simple dishes, food was excellent except for a hair in my risotto. They need to invest in a winter awning as every time the door opened, the restaurant filled with cold air. I understand that places need to include gratuity but I was deeply dissatisfied with service. It wasn’t welcoming. I really hope this place can do better because Chef Lamar is very talented and would hate to see this place close before it really gets going.

We just left from our Valentines dinner. There was a prefix menu tonight that we were unaware of until we sat down. Let me start with the good. The service was impeccable! Our server, Precious was so sweet and very accommodating! No complaints about service whatsoever. The ambiance and vibe of the restaurant is top tier- perfect for date night for sure! Now the food... I was able to try the caviar deviled eggs thanks to our wonderful server putting in a special request for this pregnant mama.. they were very very good! I thoroughly enjoyed them! The crab cakes were also absolutely delicious and both my husband and I enjoyed them greatly! The sauce it comes with has a nice Smokey flavor that just set the crab cakes off. Loved them! The main courses were very underwhelming. It's not what we had in mind to order to begin with but the fact that mostly everything was under seasoned, undercooked, or over seasoned was very disappointing. The steak had no flavor and I do not believe they are actually dry aged for 45 days. This was a steak that you drown in A1... I will not order that again The scallop and shrimp risotto would've been great but the risotto was slightly undercooked and not seasoned enough... the scallops were delicious! With a nice char but slightly oversalted. The shrimp were huge and perfectly seasoned but needed to come out of the skillet a few seconds earlier. Neither of us finished our main courses- it just wasn't that good. Will we be back? Sooner or later yea because I really want to try the catfish dip and Green tomatoes and the service and vibe of the place was really great... but it's not a top priority of mine. Everyone sitting next to us had the same exact sentiments and we all felt bamboozled that we had no idea that there was a special menu tonight and regular items were unavailable. Hopefully the food is better next time we visit.

What truly sets The OTC. apart is the attention to detail. Every plate felt like a work of art, and the flavors were beautifully balanced. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service, making it a fantastic value for a memorable dining experience.
