etch is a globally-inspired restaurant by award-winning chef Deb Paquette. The original location opened its doors in 2012 in lively downtown Nashville; the second location opened in fall of 2024 in The Factory at Franklin. The modern restaurant houses two private dining rooms, a full bar, and a chef’s bar, giving guests a look into the restaurants' culinary prowess.

etch’s eclectic menu incorporates innovative dishes inspired by Deb and Executive Chef Jess Lambert's favorite regions of the world to leave a lasting impression, or etch, on every diner. A wine list with over 80 choices is available, along with high-gravity local beers and hand-crafted signature cocktails.

Desserts are prepared in-house by Pastry Chef Megan Williams, whose creations top the list for the city’s sweet confections. House-made ice creams and artfully plated desserts change seasonally, providing a revolving array of treats that will keep you coming back for more.

    Hands down one of my favorite dining experiences in Franklin right now. So many delicious options for vegetarians and pescatarians. So many delicious drinks. The ambience is warm and inviting while still feeling elevated and chic. The service is unmatched and feels five star without the pretension. Can’t recommend etch at The Factory enough.

    This was our first time at the Franklin location. We actually liked it better than the downtown location believing that there was much less distraction thus allowing for a more enjoyable experience. Everyone on staff were wonderful thus making the entire experience very enjoyable. Our waitress was on top of every detail and served with a smile and with enthusiasm. My wife and I shared the berry and beet salad that was the best we've had. I had a delicious pork ribeye steak and my wife had the fish special (salmon). Both main courses were prepared with ingredients that kept allowing us to bite into flavor bombs that added to the enjoyment of the dishes. We shared a good bottle of chardonnay with the meal. While we needed no dessert, we shared one of several that attracted our attention. Needless to say, we will find our way back to ETCH as we as do to ETC and Char in this great chain of restaurants. They always empress with their entire package,

    The food was beautifully prepared and delicious. We have dined at the Etch downtown so very many times and always enjoyed it. This branch of Etch was just as good and enjoyable.

    The service was great, my meal (the octopus appetizer and the venison dish) were delicious and the ambience was perfect for a date night. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be going back!

    We have been to Etch in downtown Nashville many times and have always loved it. We were thrilled to discover that the Franklin location is just as wonderful. The entrees were very flavorful, the service was great and the ambiance was nice. We will definitely return.
