   Had a great experience while in Nashville for the first time. The atmosphere was just right, the food was great, and we had AMAZING service by Shay who gave great recommendations and made sure we were taken care of. Definitely glad we took a chance on Etch.

   Amazing food! Amazing service! We had the beet salad, chef special (mahi mahi) and the filet. Delish! Not to mention, care and concern about food allergies. Our new favorite restaurant!!

   First, I want to say that the food was excellent!! I had the pan seared sea scallops and my boyfriend had the venison. Everything was cooked perfectly! The horseradish Caesar salad was flavorful without being overdressed. I also loved that they can split the portion of any salad. The ambiance was great- love being able to see into the kitchen and watch them do their magic. It also was crowded but not loud and it was easy to have a conversation. Our server was very friendly although he was slow. It took 15 minutes just to get a glass of wine from the bar. We also got the Brussels sprouts which were awesome! On the menu, my glass of wine was $14 and the Brussels sprouts were $10. When the bill arrived, the glass of wine was $18 and the sprouts were $11. In the presence of a $180 dinner bill, $5 is not a big deal. However, I believe the prices on the menu should be the same as what appears on the bill. We waited for our server to come back so that we could give him an opportunity to correct the bill, however we never saw him again. This was the only negative in our experience at Etch. The rest was glowingly positive!!

   The staff was over-the-top. They accommodated my wife’s dietary restrictions to a T. This is one of our favorite places to go while in Nashville.

   We had a fabulous experience at Etch. I have celiac disease and cross contamination is an issue. The staff took this very seriously and were able to offer me delicious food but also peace of mind. I wish I lived closer that we could dine there more often!

   First, they have valet service, so there is no worrying about finding a place to park in downtown Nashville! Tehran server Nick was amazing at going over any food allergy needs with my fiancé and I, which my fiancé is celiac disease (gluten-free). Nick then stated how the manager would be over to talk more about the food allergy need and went over the menu with my fiancé and also showed the alternatives to specific dishes if she were to choose one of them to eat due to her celiac. The manager also explained how when our order was placed they would inform the chef to handle her food and that the manners would bring out the food instead of our server which Is smart to protect them if something were to be wrong ( I don't know the real reason why). Overall, all managers, Nick, and staff were amazing and made our anniversary dinner outstanding!

    I’m giving it a 4 because my salmon fish was too sweet. I would have loved some live dinner music.
