    Service was absolutely awful. Took over 17 minutes for our server to come over to take drink orders. It was obvious they were short staffed. Food was just meh.. it’s too bad this place has gone downhill. Such great potential if this was managed by different management

    I’ve been there several times before and was happy to return. But today’s service was poor. They seemed to have forgotten the order (several others who came later were served first), coffee was cold (twice) and no apologies were given. I’ll likely return reluctantly, in hopes that they had an off day.

    It was great ambience and service. Food wise, salad and zero proof alcohol options were great. Vegetarian main course is limited.

    It was nice. This is not a slam to the server. He was great. The restaurant appeared understaffed with servers and wait staff.

    We will always return to this legendary hidden gem garden patio for special event brunches just as we did decades ago as young gay men to compare notes with our best friends after scandalous nights of clubbing! I only wish the new management would bring back the fishbowl mimosas that calmed our nerves in those crazy days :-)

    A great Valentine's Day dinner. Our server was delightful: she was attentive, friendly, helpful and added much to the experience. Food was its usual delicious.

    We had a very large party (which is always a hassle for restaurants). The exceptional host helped me from step 1 on the phone with reservations, and all the way through our dining experience. Service was attentive and quick. Food, as always, was wonderful.

    A favorite dining spot in the Castro with local and visiting friends. The staff are helpful and friendly especially the servers. Our regular server is amazing.

    First time at this restaurant. Welcoming and friendly from the host desk all the way through leaving when several staff thanked us and said goodbye. The back patio transports you away as though you are on vacation. The food was incredible and they accommodated a food allergy with no fuss and went above and beyond.
