Fabrik is the intersect of fine dining and mom & pop restaurant hosted in an intimate micro restaurant space. We offer a 5 and 7-Course tasting at 6pm, and a 7-Course tasting at 8:30pm Wed-Sun. Fabrik's current menu focuses on Japanese, Nordic, and Italian flavor profiles. Fabrik is 100% independently owned and operated.

Led by Executive Chef-Owner Je Wallerstein, Fabrik is Austin’s first 100-percent plant-based tasting restaurant featuring curated menus that highlight the seasonality and diversity of plant-based cuisine in an upscale, sophisticated setting. With sustainability as a priority in our approach, we source produce and ingredients from local growers and provisioners wherever possible. We offer an eclectic selection of vegan, biodynamic and organic wines, including an optional wine pairing. Fabrik also offers saké as well as a range of non-alcoholic options.

    My daughter had given us a holiday gift certificate at this restaurant as she knows us into plant based food. So we were excited about this, and we will definitely go back to try the different seasonal tasting menu. Every dish was made beautifully and every bite was so delicious! We were full at the end. We enjoyed it!!! It was our anniversary and we were given two complimentary glasses for the toast and a signed menu from the chef. Much appreciated!!!

    Delicious! If I could eat like this everyday, I’d have no problem being vegan. The ladies at the front of house were so knowledgeable and personable. And, it was awesome being able to greet the Chef on our way in/out. Definitely plan on coming back as the menu changes seasonally.

    Fabrik was incredible. It’s a perfect spot for a special occasion, we went to celebrate our anniversary. The food was exquisite and the service was attentive, informed, but not overpowering. Every dish was a delight and there was more than enough food. The ambience is calm and comforting and the space is so well sound baffled that we could have a conversation at normal levels even with other guests nearby and music playing. Thank you to Mary and Mariah, you made our evening all the more special.

    A great dining experience. We came for our anniversary and had the seven-course autumn tasting menu. Each dish made excellent use of plants and was well-plated. The taste was great and the service was highly professional and personalized. Each course was rich in texture and flavor. Our servers were gracious and great explanations of each course and wine pairing. My one critique—not enough to demote the 5-star rating—is that the pacing was a bit fast. Each course came almost immediately after the preceding one. It would have been nice to have a bit more time to savor each course and have a bit of time for coffee at the end. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience and I look forward to returning to try future menus.

    Fabrik is an intimate venue w/ a pleasing ambiance and delightful staff that provides a unique prix fixe dining experience in gourmet vegan cuisine that is certainly unique to Austin and based on our experience, most other cities throughout the US. The food and dinner service is outstanding and we were amazed by what the chefs and kitchen were able to produce and serve using solely vegan ingredients. Having said that, if you're a carnivore w/ limited exposure to vegetarian or vegan cooking, you may still leave wanting for your usual portion of animal protein or fat, but you certainly won't be disappointed in the breadth, quality and production of this completely amazing kitchen and staff!
