I visited Lone Oak Distillery on Mother’s Day and left disappointed, especially given the expectations set by their reservation process. I booked a table in the speakeasy section through OpenTable, which required a credit card, implying this would be a more curated, premium experience. It wasn’t. From the start, the service felt off. The hostess barely acknowledged us, and once inside the speakeasy, which was nearly empty, I expected attentive service. Instead, the server was more engaged in conversations with other staff at the bar than with guests. It took far too long to get drinks and food, and I had to flag her down just to get a final round. As for the drinks, the cocktail menu was underwhelming, basic and uninspired, especially for a place that markets itself as a speakeasy. All in all, Lone Oak missed the mark. Between the lackluster service and the mediocre offerings, it’s not a place I’ll be returning to for cocktails or beer.

Love the speakeasy vibe and decor. Really good drinks, food is ok, but passable as something to eat / snack on while enjoying the drinks. Will be back, but hope for an improved kitchen soon.

We had 5pm reservation’s and sat on the porch overlooking the fields. We were lucky enough to hit the happy hour prices. Enjoyed flatbread and drink specials. Friendly staff. No kids in the distillery venue was a plus.

It was a cute concept for the tea time but it definitely needs fine tuning. We bought two tickets as a couple and then we sat with another couple. They only brought us one tea tower and it was sparse. Items were missing, we only received one tea per person. I thought it was odd to essentially pay $200 between the couples and only get one tower. What made this worse was towards the end I looked behind me and saw a table of three that had two towers. The second was seeing a tower from an influencer that had even more food than we received for their table of two. The monetary cost did not add up to what we received. It would have been nice to receive some alcohol pairings, some music or provided more non alcoholic beverages then. I just don’t think we had a $100 couple experience. It was a good try and I’m sure they will improve. But it fell flat for us.

Drinks were great and service was awesome. Would’ve been 5 stars if the food menu was a bit more expansive. They didn’t have the chicken dish which is the only true entree; a farm to dish place shouldn’t run out of chicken at 6pm on a Friday. Other than that, great vibes!

Everything was great but it was too noisy. We had 10 people so we probably contributed to the noise level too.

Beautiful environment. Loud table next to us. Food was ok but crab cake flatbread was served cold. Brisket sliders were good and drinks were good!
