Though the menu at Famous Dave's in Stapleton does emphasize the tasty BBQ options, it is not limited just to the famous ribs. We went for a Birthday dinner, we love BBQ and I am very disappointed with this Famous Dave's. This is the second time we have gone and it is just not up to par. The brisket was so dry, and the food was just meh. I did the open table reservation because we had eight people and when we got there the person at the front said, we do not even use Open Table or have reservations, there was no one there so it was no problem, I guess should have been my first hint. They are not taking pride in the food they serve, and the servers are very slow and don't really care it seems.

Not impressed at all. We used to LOVE Famous Dave’s. But something has changed. Not sure exactly what but the food quality is way down, the service wasn’t great. Silverware was dirty as well.

When we arrived & said we had booked with Open Table, we were told they don’t use open table. The restaurant was not busy so we were seated. The staff was very nice & service was quick & friendly. The food was mediocre. The Texas brisket was ok at best, but not as good as expected. We had eaten here several years prior while on vacation & we remembered it being much better. We probably will not eat there again.

They don't honor reservations from here. So I put my name on their paper list. And they never even called. Guess they don't like business
