   Fathom is a great restaurant for any meal. the menu is great and it has reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and very efficient. I love the ambiance and decor. Fathom is one of my favourite restaurants in Victoria!

   I made reservations to do the Winter on the Terrace fondue - I was taking my mom out - and unfortunately service was not great. It started with being sat at the only table with the heater not turned on. When we asked (politely) if could be turned on (it was really cold) the woman who sat us was quite rude about it and seemed bothered, telling us she can try but that they had been “having trouble with it.”. It turned out the problem was the propane tank needed changing. She made a production of slamming things around and looking very angry about it the whole time. She snapped at someone at a table nearby about how it “had to be done”. Very odd and left us feeing pretty bad for wanting to be warm. It then took about 15 minutes before another server took our drink order. Once we finally got our drinks we then were approached by a different person who informed us they were our actual server and that they were “really busy”. He took our order and delivered food (which was actually delicious). He never checked if we wanted another drink or anything the whole time. We also had the chocolate fondue and coffee and that was it. Bill delivered evening over. We felt very unwelcome and like we were bothering everyone and we are not sure why. Probably won’t come back or recommend Fathom.

   Great winter activity! We sat on the terrace with a fireplace and ordered the cheese fondue, it was delicious. The cocktails are well crafted and thought out every detail. It was nice and quiet and relaxing as they only have a few tables outside. Very pretty lights were hung as well which added to the ambience. Wish the terrace experience was all year round.

   This was our second time dining here. It did not disappoint!! The food was good and service was great. Tristan was very attentive and friendly. We dined on the patio and the atmosphere was very nice. Definitely won’t be our last visit. Well done Fathom!!👍🏻

   We love the tables with the central fire. The staff were wonderful and the food excellent. Will definitely go back next year for the special winter fondue menu.

   Beautiful setting and decor. $27 for eggs Benedict and I requested soft poached, so it was disappointing when they came a little over medium. The server did offer to get it remade, but I didn’t want to wait when my table was already half way through their meal. Just kind of unfortunate

   This was a wonderful dining experience! We were there for Winter on the Terrace! It was great. Enjoyed the food, the servers were excellent and the ambience is wonderful at night with the lights. The heater was great so eating “outside” was terrific. We definitely want to return.
