This visit to Fia has been scheduled for a while! Our group wanted to check it out after visiting the owners other establishment: Amina! This space is located in the Gayborhood next to the Marriott Fairfield Inn! The space is not large..but it has a cool vibe! We had the brunch menu..ordered deviled eggs; Grits& Ox tails & the burger! The food was flavorful and had good portion sizes! The drinks were made well…a bit on the pricey side! Be aware the beer selection is limited. Service was prompt and friendly! I will return to sample the dinner menu!

The Open Table link to this restaurant said Contemporary American fare and had a different menu (African cuisine). So mislead by the Open Table info. We went because we were hungry. Probably would not go again as the menu was not what we wanted but what we had was ok. You need to touch base with them to update their most current information.

Went three couples. Daughter’s birthday brunch. Food was very good and simply unique flare to each dish. Everything was delicious. Martini was fun to start with appetizers French toast alamode. So fun. Decor was also unique and fun.

Delicious food and excellent service. The cocktails were good too. I had the old fashioned. The black eyed peas, cornbread and collards were amazing 😋

Food was great, presentation was beautiful. Server was nice but she was a bit pushy towards the end with wrapping up our table. We weren’t even done with the snapper and she was ready to take the plate, she did it twice too. The second time she touched the crab fried rice and so we didn’t even want to pack that to go anymore. Maybe tell the server to give ppl more time before trying to take their plates away, other than that it was a pretty ok experience for my first time.

Food was good and worth the trip. Service was spotty and had to remind the server about drink orders and actually took a drink off the bill because we never got it.

Fia in Center City, feels like the opening act. Decent small plates, but no showstoppers. The ambience? Relaxed, perfect for a drink and bite before the main event. Solid, but not stealing the spotlight.

Fia was highly disappointing. Everything was salty. Drinks were half full. 40$ service charge. Very loud environment almost like a nightclub. Menu item listed as M/P for cost including Red Snapper! Burger cooked well done when asked for medium. Poor experience.
