   For a Sunday late afternoon/early evening it was extremely chilly. Needed to turn heat up. Other than that it was great.

   We had reservations for 6:45. Apparently they were very backed up and might have seated too many walk-ins. In any event we were offered a table at the front, otherwise we would be waiting a while. They offered us a free appetizer as well. Our waitress, Sydney, was very gracious and upbeat. It was obvious she was extremely busy and by the time we were leaving, she was whipped. She was still very gracious and thanked us profusely for our patience. It was certainly not her fault and she was doing a great job The food was phenomenal. I don’t think you would ever find a bad item on that menu, which is likely why they are packed all the time. I would certainly recommend Firebirds, however, would just suggest not being in a hurry when going there. In addition the waiting area is very cramped and somewhat uncomfortable.

   Unfortunately they were very backed up on seating reservations. Our seating was 45 minutes past our reservation time. The staff eventually started to blame the guests and stated that several tables of guests were lingering longer than 2 hours. When we did eventually get seated we noted that service was moving slow so we question if the guests being blamed for the lateness were actually just slowed by the restaurant service.

   Firebirds was our “go to “ place for dinner but honestly the last two visits (Nov and last night) have been a disappointment. Both visits took an hour to get our food and then I had to return it because the filet was over done. There was a lot of confusion as they brought out my chili and salad appetizers twice. We had a 5:45 reservation and didn’t get seated until 6:15. It became obvious that the problem was with the kitchen as the delay as they were slow in getting out the orders. Same happened on our previous visit 2 months ago and we were told they were working on it. It obviously hasn’t been fixed. Evelyn and Kaitlyn saved the evening with their great attitude and service otherwise this would have been a one or two star review.

   Waited 30 mins past our reservation, waitress was very rude. We waited 47 mins for our food. We had to ask for the bread and she threw it on to the table. She never checked on us , my food was burnt. Didn’t feel comfortable asking for dessert, waitress acted like we were bothering her. If I could give her 0 stars I would.

    Beautiful restaurant with a good menu selection. Most at our table really enjoyed their food, but the two chicken dishes were cool/cold when served. Service was very slow.
