   While the food was good it didn't come out hot. My prime rib was just better than warm and my wife had to get another baked potato as the first one was cold. Our friends with us had a salad and hamburger . They said it was just ok.

   Went to the new one in surprise for the first time with a reservation at 5 on a Friday night. Was promptly greeted and seated by a very pleasant hostess. Nice wide open layout with in and out seating and see through bar. A bit on the noisy side but it was crowded both in and out. Prefer this location and layout over the one at P83. Food and drinks were were served promptly and were good.

   Kenton, Jodi and Mike provided exceptional service. Food as always was delicious. If anything isn’t right it’s corrected immediately! Wonderful Experience!

   We have given 5 stars in the past. Filet was so-so and for the price it should be delicious. My husband’s salmon was very good. Salads ok but not like they use to be. Is there a different chef? Server was just ok. I think we will be checking out some other restaurants.

   We love the atmosphere of the Firebirds in Peoria so it was a surprise to find that the Surprise location was very different and rather similar to most of the other new restaurants. The service was the best either. We’ll go back to the Peoria location.

   Great food moderately priced. Nice happy hour perks. Nice Monday perks. We had a great server named Heather. Excellent chic tortilla soup. Fresh burgers. Best onion rings and Parmesan fries. Comfortable restaurant. One of our go to places

    We have had many very good experiences at Firebirds in Peoria. We were thankful to have one closer and visited this Surprise location as part of our anniversary weekend. We were seated promptly. Our hostess brought us water as requested. We ordered the Ranch Rings as an appetizer. She came back to take our order. We ordered salads, which came out pretty quickly. About halfway through eating the salad the appetizer showed up with an apology for the delay. Assuming they were too hot to eat we finished our salads, but in the few minutes it took to do that the appetizer was barely warm still. This led me to believe that the ‘delay’ was that they had been sitting on the shelf too long. Then, it took quite awhile for our food to arrive. I had ordered a pasta, which normally is also too hot to eat upon arrival. Not so. It was warm on the outside, warmer in the middle, but definitely not hot. This again led me to believe that it had been sitting. Same with my wife’s food. The steak, mashed potatoes, and asparagus were not hot at all. We decided to get dessert. It took a long time. She brought the bill way before the dessert arrived. The manager came by, kinda slowed down and said “everything still good?” and continued on his way. The food was good, but as mentioned above, our experiences at other Firebirds locations have been very enjoyable. But we won’t be returning to this one.
