Don’t fall for the hype the place looks nice but looks can be deceiving. The Firepit restaurant was drafty and the food very mediocre not cooked to order which is not acceptable for the price they charge wouldn’t go again a lot of the dishes were cold and service just ok.

The food was terrible, was not edible worst restaurant me and my partner has ever been to. The food took forever to come out, waiting 30 minutes for each dish to come out and 1 hour for our drinks. When the food came it was cold and was Iceland food quality equivalent. Hotel was lovely but the food options was terrible, such as shame.

A real treat of a Sunday lunch with very pleasing and interesting ambience that is quite different from elsewhere. The music level could have been lower to allow easier conversation. My soup could have been hotter and the beef was too rare but then I could have chosen chicken instead. The pork was absolutely perfect with faultless crackling. The lounge afterwards for drinks is also very good and relaxing indeed. Overall highly recommended at £40 for 2 course and £50 for 3 course.

Superb menu. Good choice. Wonderfully presented. Can thoroughly recommend. The lamb and beef dishes were particularly succulent.

First time tasing the new menu and it was honestly amazing! We had the taster menu and every course was spot on. We love this place due to not only the food, but the ambience and the service is friendly.

Service and food fantastic. Wonderful ambience. Only moan it is a bit expensive, ordering the small dish scallops which comprised of 2 scallops and cost £18 was a trifle steep. Rest of dishes much better value. The beef fillet, lamb and bass glorious. There were 4 of us and had 4 small dishes, 3 large, 2 sides. It was lovely to have coffee in the downstairs lounge afterwards. Highly recommend but for us a special occasion place.
