   We dined as a table of 3 and were delighted to get the bath seat! Go visit to see for yourself… The service was great, friendly and helpful. The food was incredible, it was the Egyptian/Syrian menu and we almost ordered the whole menu to share as we wanted to try everything! It was all delicious, perfectly balanced, authentic flavours. Dessert was a highlight - the baklava was yummy but the mango cake - exceptional! Expected it to be heavy and very sweet but it was light, fruity and just the right level of sweetness. Looking forward to revisiting in future - the upcoming raclette has got to be done! Thanks First Draft!

   Amazing food from New Routes pop up, really really good food. Great value for money. 7 of us ate, we shared starter platters and desserts and each had a main, a couple of bottles of wine and several cocktails and the bill was £291. Excellent value! The service was also excellent, our waitress was amazing and very accommodating. Overall a great experience, will definitely return.

   Have been twice before. Was a little more average this time. Has been a 5/5 then 3.5-4/5 previously but 3/5 this time, good but not very good or excellent. Food was only warm when we got it and not hot which is a shame. Staff are friendly and accommodating though. Maybe the food was only warm by the time we received it as there were around 5 tables in but all appeared to be ordering or eating at the same time rather than more spread out and only one person waiting tables so perhaps the food had waited longer than ideal to be served. It was quite tasty and good quality but perhaps weaker than the previous 2 options they’ve had IMO. Unfortunately also came out this time smelling badly of fried food like we’d been in greasy spoon cafe. Perhaps the kitchen extraction isn’t working that well or up to the job. Interesting the busy tables are hidden up near the back of the space so if you’re walking in or walking past you think it’s empty. I believe that could put people off dropping in if you think it’s empty or has no vibe. Just a few little things could improve it but hey just my opinion. If the cuisine option after next month is of interest I will try it again as I do think it’s a good concept. Just lacking in some execution.

   Had a wonderful evening at First Draft - loved the ambiance, the service and the food. One star lost as they’d run out of Egyptian croquettes, which we all wanted to try. But it gives us a great reason to go back!

    I loved first draft it’s a great space with quirky art work and an assortment of tables and chairs, like a bath sofa. Open kitchen so you can see the pop up chefs. We went to Gochi Gochi Caribean food, great sharing dishes of beautiful flavours. Great cocktails too. We had a lovely time in this busy popular restaurant with rotating caterers.
