Twice we have eaten here, and twice we have chosen to do a tasting menu with wine parings. It was really lovely, and the courses are so creative and unusual. We were served three desserts, one of which was a radicchio gelato and chartreuse poured over it. So good! The alchemy of flavors is just brilliant. The wine choices were excellent as well. I have developed allergies to many wines, and their organic/biologique cultivated wines were both delicious and did not cause me any issues. I took home a list to stock up on. The people who run this place seem to be very on top of things, and there is always someone coming by to look after you. They really know what they are doing, and they seem to enjoy doing it. It is pricey doing the tasting menu, but it was a special night out and worth every penny for the experience.

We loved Fish & Game - the ambiance, the food and the service. I'd happily drive back to Hudson to eat there again anytime. The lardo toast and the radicchio gelato dessert (yes really) we among the best things I have eaten in months. Bravo and I can't wait to come back. I ordered the upcoming cookbook (March 14th!) as soon as I got home.

We were very impressed with Fish and Game. It is the type of haut cuisine that I did not expect to find in the Hudson Valley. It's not even that easy to find in NYC! By haut cuisine I mean that it is not just a night of dining but a truly memorable experience. It is a rare event. This restaurant is for those who appreciate exquisite moments.

Great décor, amazing food and a very knowledgeable staff. I would recommend getting reservations early as it is a Hudson hotspot.

Not what we were expecting from a rated resturant. Food was tepid not hot. Felt premade and kept under a warmer. Nice room, great wine, not worth the $

Super cozy restaurant - you feel like you're dining in someone's home! The amazing aromas coming from the fireplaces made us even more excited for dinner, and the food did not disappoint. Favorites were the sable with soy and sake glaze, beans cooked over the fire, and pasta with lamb ragu. Can't wait to return the next time we're in Hudson!

Would recommend going to the bar area for a drink and maybe an app or two before having dinner elsewhere. Food definitely wasn't bad and certainly was creative - but for the price, would recommend Swoon or Hudson Food Studio for better priced options and better tasting food. However, great for special occasions and lovely decor. Truly a Hudson staple for a special birthday or anniversary.

The $16 potatoes were under cooked and the $18 beans were bland. definitely not worth the price. Nice space though

We had just been to Blue Hill at Stone Barns, so our threshold for service was a little high, but I have never had a wait staff person give me a look like I got after asking to replace a drink. A drink I agreed to pay for!! I just wanted a new one. The food was very uneven, so what was good was delicious, but otherwise it was mediocre. The fish was very fishy. Sardines, which I ordered, can be expected to be that way and were paired with perfectly cooked garbanzo beans, but the Sable wasn't really edible. The wine was amazing!! the chicken was good, if a tad undercooked. The Cheese Squash was lovely and inventive, the sweet potato also very nice, but when asked for greens, they said there aren't any now.....not sure who their farmer's are but I find them at every farmer's market I go to. Again, fine, you don't have them, but the attitude........gosh. The décor is almost brilliant, but it's like they couldn't decide if it was a lodge or a boudoir. My hope is that they find their rhythm, and work out their attitudes on others, we'll check back in a couple of years if they are still there.
