My sisters and I took my mom here for a late Mother’s Day celebration thinking it would be a classy dining experience especially because a $20 per person deposit was required. We were torn between this and Dōgon but knew my mom would like this menu better. The crazy part is, they both had the same price point so my expectation was they would both have the same vibe and experience.\n- The table right behind us was smoking hookah and had a “professional” camera man taking photos the majority of the night. Idk if it was for Flavorture or if was for the ladies at the table.\n- Reservation was at 6:30 and the whole dining experience lasted until 9:30. Not because we were having a grand time, but because the service was that slow! It took 45 mins for vegan egg rolls.\n- My sister and I both ordered the Steak & Frites and the waiter told us “we only have one order of steak and frites available” like this was McDonald’s with the broken ice cream machine. So I let my sister have it and it came out cold. She ordered it medium but because it was cold, she sent it back knowing there was on one steak so they clearly popped it in the microwave which overcooked it and the waiter still took too long to bring it back so it was STILL COLD.\n- The place was basically full and it had about 35 guests in it. It is THAT small. Or at least the side they had us on. There’s another dining room area that they are currently using for storage.\n- The music was loud but the GM was louder. He was literally screaming across the bar “everyone yell Flavorture”.\n- The food was delicious but I would never come here nor recommend this place ever again.\n\nIf you are looking for a cute Instagramable bar with delicious food, chilled afrobeats with a little more of a lounge experience and you’re in no rush nor are you starving; this is your place. But if you’re expecting fine dining….move around! The drinks are ok. Did not enjoy the espresso martini. Seemed watered down. The manager did take care of the soup and checked on the table which was greatly appreciated. If you do book a reservation make sure your deposit is taken off the bill. We realized after paying they did not apply it but it was refunded immediately when brought to their attention. For only 2 people the tab was close to $200. is really just an upscale bar and not a real sit down restaurant. My sisters and I took my mom here for a late Mother’s Day celebration thinking it would be a classy dining experience especially because a $20 per person deposit was required. We were torn between this and Dōgon but knew my mom would like this menu better. The crazy part is, they both had the same price point so my expectation was they would both have the same vibe and experience.\n- The table right behind us was smoking hookah and had a “professional” camera man taking photos the majority of the night. Idk if it was for Flavorture or if was for the ladies at the table.\n- Reservation was at 6:30 and the whole dining experience lasted until 9:30. Not because we were having a grand time, but because the service was that slow! It took 45 mins for vegan egg rolls.\n- My sister and I both ordered the Steak & Frites and the waiter told us “we only have one order of steak and frites available” like this was McDonald’s with the broken ice cream machine. So I let my sister have it and it came out cold. She ordered it medium but because it was cold, she sent it back knowing there was on one steak so they clearly popped it in the microwave which overcooked it and the waiter still took too long to bring it back so it was STILL COLD.\n- The place was basically full and it had about 35 guests in it. It is THAT small. Or at least the side they had us on. There’s another dining room area that they are currently using for storage.\n- The music was loud but the GM was louder. He was literally screaming across the bar “everyone yell Flavorture”.\n- The food was delicious but I would never come here nor recommend this place ever again.\n\nIf you are looking for a cute Instagramable bar with delicious food, chilled afrobeats with a little more of a lounge experience and you’re in no rush nor are you starving; this is your place. But if you’re expecting fine dining….move around! This is really just an upscale bar and not a real sit down restaurant. My sisters and I took my mom here for a late Mother’s Day celebration thinking it would be a classy dining experience especially because a $20 per person deposit was required. We were torn between this and Dōgon but knew my mom would like this menu better. The crazy part is, they both had the same price point so my expectation was they would both have the same vibe and experience.
- The table right behind us was smoking hookah and had a “professional” camera man taking photos the majority of the night. Idk if it was for Flavorture or if was for the ladies at the table.
- Reservation was at 6:30 and the whole dining experience lasted until 9:30. Not because we were having a grand time, but because the service was that slow! It took 45 mins for vegan egg rolls.
- My sister and I both ordered the Steak & Frites and the waiter told us “we only have one order of steak and frites available” like this was McDonald’s with the broken ice cream machine. So I let my sister have it and it came out cold. She ordered it medium but because it was cold, she sent it back knowing there was on one steak so they clearly popped it in the microwave which overcooked it and the waiter still took too long to bring it back so it was STILL COLD.
- The place was basically full and it had about 35 guests in it. It is THAT small. Or at least the side they had us on. There’s another dining room area that they are currently using for storage.
- The music was loud but the GM was louder. He was literally screaming across the bar “everyone yell Flavorture”.
- The food was delicious but I would never come here nor recommend this place ever again.
If you are looking for a cute Instagramable bar with delicious food, chilled afrobeats with a little more of a lounge experience and you’re in no rush nor are you starving; this is your place. But if you’re expecting fine dining….move around! This isn’t it.

Food was excellent. We tried a few of the appetizers(eggrolls, cornbread, oysters), and the lamb chops were cooked to perfection. I really came to taste the oysters and they did not disappoint. The waiter and entire staff were really nice and quick. This was my first time dining here and we will definitely be back!

The food was phenomenal, per usual! We had a lovely dining experience. The lamb chops were seared to med rare perfection and the flavor was bold, garlicky, with a hint of sweetness. So delicious! The chargrilled oysters are a fav! So much flavor! The ribeye was huge and cooked well with delicious flavor. The Vegan jerk tacos, the buffalo shrimp, the branzino… the branzino was whole and buttery pieces of flavor melted in our mouths. The ambiance was smooth jazz on a Friday night. We will forever come back!

Food came out very slowly and a bit over cooked. It was karaoke night and the noise level was extremely high. Not our best experience at this restaurant.
