   Wonderful dinner—made a “book now” reservation close to me and easily surprised by the availability. We arrive ten minutes early and were asked to wait while the table was prepared. The eatery offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The decor is clean and flows well. We were seated in a small corner table designed for two and it was perfect, not too cramped. The wait staff was friendly and professional. Our waiter provided drinks and suggested an appetizer: Queso with mushrooms and corn tortillas with salsa. We intentionally kept our meal light and ordered chicken pozole and mole with chicken leg and rice. It was all very good!

   The service rating should really be distinguished between the host/ seating service versus the wait staff, the latter of which was excellent. But we stood in the crowded front door area with a delivery person and other people waiting to be seated for what seemed like an eternity with a hostess coming and going to the front podium and not so much as making eye contact with anyone. This is all in spite of the fact that we had a reservation and it was way past our reservation time before anyone even acknowledged us or the other people waiting and trying to stay out of the way of the waiters and customers constantly coming in and out of the front door -- what a chaotic mess. If we hadn't had a reservation and had I not wanted to get docked by opentable, I would have left. They should create more space in the front door entrance area and train the hostess to at least acknowledge the many humans standing there waiting to be seated. Once we finally were seated, things improved: the wait staff are quick to arrive , take your order, check in on you to see if you want anything more. The food is very good, the portion sizes not huge but not tiny. The tres leches dessert is huge though; this is a good one to share with someone. Much of the restaurant is noisier than I like, but others might like that kind of atmosphere.

   Overall great food and ambiance for a casual weeknight meal with friends. Only draw back was drinks were inconsistent and received rude attitude from staff when I ask them to remake my second cocktail.

   Chips were cold and stale. Service was slow to welcome us and even slower to take our order. Like... slow enough to where we ordered drinks, apps, and entrees all at once when the server made their way over just to be sure we didn't miss our window again. Food was solid- didn't blow us away. By the end of our meal, we started to receive an adequate level of attention, but it was too little, too late imo. Our service level was distinctly commensurate with the rush dying down, so I place my concerns more on management's staffing rather than back or front of house.

   The hostess made us feel very welcome and even moved us away from being next to a large party. Even so, the sounds level was ear splitting. Kind of funny it was so loud. We had to wave down a server to take our order but then the food came fast. In fact they tried to give us other people’s food twice. Tacos were good (not remarkable) but the chips and guacamole were very good and the side order of corn, chiles, onions and cheese was very spicy and delicious. Good margarita. My partner enjoyed his enchiladas. All in all a lovely evening except for the crazy noise level. Next time I will request to be in the room by the kitchen (much quieter) or outside. The hostess came back at the end and chatted with us and apologized for the noise (without us mentioning it) and made us feel very welcomed.

   Ordered churros twice for a birthday celebration and never got them. Ultimately had to just leave.

    The value is just not there. Their Carne Asada was well done so it's not worth the $36 you're paying for. The rest of the food was just fine, nothing to rave about. Just your average run of the mill restaurant. The service was also - okay. We ordered 8 items and our table was too small to accommodate everything and they really didn't do anything to help us out but rather stick the plantains that we bought on the child booster seat that we had for my 8 month old daughter.
