   Poor service. My son was excited to celebrate his 15 th birthday at Fogo di Chão. Upon arrival our servant brought us drinks and left. He was no where to be found. After some time of not being acknowledged, we flagged down a different sever to bring us extra sides. Then, the men serving the meats bypassed us several times We had to Flag them down to get meats. The meat service was lacking in so many ways. Then, to top it off, they did not acknowledge my son’s birthday. It was a horrible experience. I would not recommend the Thousands Oaks location to anyone. This review will be posted on social media.

   We were a party of three, and we were seated upon arrival. In the beginning, the service was spotty and sketchy at best. One server took my drink order but not that of my husband and his adult daughter. Another server was flagged down to take their drink orders. Our drinks didn't arrive. I had to ask the original server to check on our drink order. Finally, a customer support specialist, John came to our table, and I explained what had transpired, this was before we placed our dinner order. John turned a disappointing situation into a delightful one. He was even gracious to offer us a free desert and since it was my step-daughter's birthday, he offered to bring us two. Thank you John!

   The food was excellent. Great selection of meats. The salad bar had a variety of tasty choices. The service was outstanding. Our waitress Grazieli was fabulous. The ambiance was enjoyable.

   Service was definitely not on point. We were served cold sides twice. Pretty disappointing expensive experience

   Very disappointing dining experience at Fogo de Chao. Poor/unavailable service, long waits requiring repetitively asking for undelivered ordered items (that is when a person could be flagged down), delivery of cold ‘hot’ items, etc. It went on and on. It was like a never-ending comedy of events - which was not funny. Certainly did not expect this from the upscale restaurant. It ruined the time for what was supposed to be a relaxing and enjoyable time spent with friends.

   We had a very fun and delicious lunch meal. Wolfgang was great. We were visiting with a friend from Japan. Wolfgang was so nice to explain the cuts of meat and to ensure that we were able to taste everything. Our friend laughed because he was so full. But told us that he would like to return but not for dinner. lol Dinner another day!

    What a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The staff could not be nicer and more accommodating, and there are tons of them everywhere I’ve never seen so many people working at a restaurant before. The food is fabulous. I love the salad bar option. It’s so rare that you see that anywhere. My son got the steak and he absolutely loved it!
