   Delicious and flavourful, had the guac and chips, roasted chick peas, half chicken (fell off the bone!), and the enchiladas.

   Absolutely outstanding experience at Fonda Fora! The food was nothing short of amazing—each dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The service was on another level, with a special shout-out to Rylan for providing probably the best service I’ve ever had—attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. The ambience was also perfect, creating the ideal setting for a fantastic meal. 10/10 recommend. Can’t wait to come back!

   We were staying at the Westley which is a great hotel and had no problems. We had a reso for here at 9:45 which was great and we came early and they accommodated for us. The issue we had was our waiter was constantly showing up late. After we ordered apps she disappeared. We only got one of them and when the manager came over we asked to also order our mains. We were there for another hour and 15 before our next apps made an appearance. And this was after we asked for the manager and spoke to him. He tried to make it better by offering us our next round of drinks for free. It would have been okay if all the waiters hadn’t suddenly avoided our table, not looked at either of us, or even smiled. The manager stated that we’re waiting on the appetizers but the mains were ready. When we got the mains outs were cold and very dry. The appetizers were chewy and also cold which I suspect was due to the time at which they arrived to the table. The the service was not what we expected . I am upset that we decided to go here for valentines as we were expecting a warm service and were instead met with nothing at all. It is disheartening and I would love to give this place a try again with another waiter

   Great vibe for Valentines day, good ambience, not too loud, food and drinks came out very quick. Staff is attentive even when servers change shifts over. We need gluten free, and there are tons of options and modifiable dishes. Great options for other allergy and dietary restrictions as well, Gluten Free, Vegan, Vegitarian, Nut Free options all on the menu. Great for a date night.

   There were some good aspects of Fonda Fora, but overall not a good experience and we will not be back. Too many other good restaurants to explore in Calgary to waste our money here. My wife and I wanted to try some place different for date night, and decided that Fonda Fora would be a good option with some decent reviews. There was parking right next door which is nice for a downtown location. Walking in, it was a pleasant ambience and fairly quiet which we both appreciate. After we sat down however, is when things went.... less well. Our server was not very personable. Not rude or abrupt, but was 'business only'. It felt like she should be working at a Denny's not a mid to high end restaurant. The menu was vague giving basically only a primary ingredient list for each dish. I ordered the trout expecting trout fillets, not a trout paste in 3 taquitos. All of the menu items were like this. The food came fairly quick -which may have been a red flag for some, but I didn't consider that at the time. For being $30-$35 a plate, it was very underwhelming. I couldn't help but think that my food was likely purchased at a grocery store and warmed up in a microwave. My wife's meal was just as underwhelming and she was unable to even finish half of it. Once finished with our main course we decided to not have desert there and upon letting the server know, she just said 'ok', took the desert menu and left. Some of these things may sound petty, but when the bill comes to $100 you expect a bit more. I could have made a much better meal at home after getting $30 worth of groceries and 20 minutes of my time.

   Went for my birthday celebration. I’ve been here before and love the food and service. This time was not like my previous experiences. We had a guest at the table that vocalized to the server she was vegan, and they still brought out cheese on her beans. The server never came by once to quality check the table so we couldn’t let her know. I never got a happy birthday or acknowledgement of the celebration. It felt very much like a “spend your money, and leave” situation. Very disappointed in the level of service we received as I raved about this place to my 10 guests and we left knowing we would not be back.

   Came for our year end team lunch, menu had a number of options available to the team to choose from. Our server was absolutely fantastic and had a great personality. Food was very tasty. Would recommend

   Service was slow. Received our drinks after we finished our appetizers. Guacamole was excellent. The rest of our dishes were not. Chicken tostadas had a ridiculous amount of salad on top which hid the mediocre amount of chicken. Steak in the tacos were chewy and full of fat. Scallops and chorizo dish was not worth $45. Scallops were burned. Dish was extremely salty. Had a lot of mini potatoes that were not crispy at all. Drinks were good. Would not go back or recommend.

    Food is always fantastic. Breakfast was amazing. Great place to bring our newborn daughter for one of our first outings with her. Pretty quiet and not very busy. Service was okay.. overall it was great.
