   We thoroughly enjoyed our Easter Brunch at Foodcraft. The service was very good and so was the food. The only complaint was that the hash was not cooked as described in the menu. Would definitely recommend though

   There were small insects in the blackberries (later after diner’s own research were likely thrips), but the manager response was lackluster. The first response was “where are the insects? I don’t see any on your plate” to which I had to explicitly answer, I killed all of them … because I didn’t know what they were and they were on my plate. The second response was, “I am not sure what they are, I am not a scientist. All I know is that we follow all same procedures in washing them.” I guess it is reassuring to know that they washed them, but in the moment was somewhat unsettling. Later in the buffet section, there were yogurt that was expired for 10 days, thankfully, I checked the date before eating.  The restaurant has a lot of potential, the waitstaff were very courteous and thoughtful, and the location is unbeatable. Just wish they had better management.

   The view outside is great and our server was wonderful. Fish bites and oysters were good, as were the kids burgers. I ordered the pecan crusted mahi, the brussel sprouts were practically raw and the portion of fish was rather small. My husband had the chicken and the carrots in the dish were also basically raw. Very bizarre. We liked sitting out by the sand, but we would probably not return because the food was just average.

   We had an amazing time at Foodcraft Coastal. If our vacation was longer we would come back a second time! Everything was delish!

    The atmosphere here is casual and relaxed. Great for adults and children. Dine in or out you can’t go wrong either way. Very attentive staff and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, dinner and dessert.
