Forage is a farm to table neighborhood bistro in Cambridge right off of Harvard Square. Through partnerships with local farmers, fishermen, and foragers, ​we offer an ever-changing seasonal menu served in a comfortable setting. We offer tasting menus every night, and proudly accommodate all dietary restrictions. Wine pairings or non alcoholic cocktails are available to compliment your meal.

The bar program at Forage ​works closely with the kitchen team's zero waste efforts to make innovative cocktails, using locally sourced ingredients. Bar manager Josh Watts is always up to something unexpected...

​Forage also boasts an esoteric but approachable list of natural/biodynamic wines, curated by Teague Mitchell. We have special pours available every night, and often some open bottles that aren't on the menu... Just ask!

Chefs Eric Cooper and Alycia Palame are drawing from global cuisine's to create a hyper local and increasingly creative menu. They invite you to join the adventure!

Chefs Eric Cooper & Alycia Palame have crafted a menu specifically designed to compliment the unique characteristics of each wine, culminating in a four course menu that is not to be missed. The cost is $125 per person, for the food & wine, and doesn’t include tax, tip, or add ons like additional courses, pickle platters, or an extra bottle of wine.

    Forage is our favorite restaurant in the Boston area. We’ve never been disappointed. The food is always outstanding, the wine list full of great discoveries, and the staff are fabulous.

    We sat at the bar and Josh, the incredible bar tender, made great cocktails with unusual ingredients as well as walked us through the tasting menu. It was inventive, inspired and delicious. What delightful experience all around.

    We sampled just about everything on the menu including the hot sauce sampler and it was all delicious. Standouts were the MUSHROOM POZOLE VERDE and ROASTED MUSHROOMS & APPLES which was topped with caramel onion ice cream. Amazing. Our server Zoe took great care of us and found the perfect wine for everyone to enjoy with their main dishes.

    Forage is a gem! The food is absolutely stunning. My friend and I ordered a sample of small plates. Everything was exquisite, and we especially liked the mushroom gratin with caramelized onion ice cream. I'm a dessert person and restaurants usually don't do them well, but the black cherry pastry was phenomenal. I also really appreciated the small scale of the restaurant. The noise level is reasonable and we could have a conversation easily, even on a busy Saturday night. Reservations are a must.

    Really cool vibe and GREAT service. A young team creating sg interesting in a basement space. Tables looked great but bar seating allowed us to interact more intimately with wait staff. A relaxed and grunge style reception and space. But the downside were the main dishes, which were outlandishly overpriced. Each dish should have been 10 dollars less than they were. CAMBRIDGE once again overselling itself. Presentation was below average. Vegan dishes are not great. DESSERTS ARE GREAT! Worth a visit but wallet will be thin afterwards.

    Super friendly and helpful staff. They were able, and willing, to accommodate my fiancé dietary restrictions due to Celiac. The food was great.
