For groups of 7 or more, we offer our Christmas with Freyja sharing menu that is crafted to create a warm and memorable dining experience. Start your celebration with a delightful seasonal seafood platter, followed by generous shared dishes and an array of sides for everyone to enjoy, and end your feast with a scrumptious dessert, specially crafted to bring a touch of seasonal cheer. Add on Freyja's Signature Waffle $22pp for the entire table to enhance the experience. Allergy requirements can be catered for if mentioned at the time of booking or 48 hours prior booking.

This experience is only available on our ground level dining & must be pre-booked. Our last seating for this experience is 8:30pm. We understand that plans can sometimes change, so if you need to change or cancel your booking, please email us 24 hours before your reservation time, a fee of $50 per person will apply to no shows or reduced guest numbers.     Excellent service delivering an innovative degustation menu. I loved the wine pairing. We sat at the bar facing the action in the open kitchen. It was a highlight watching the finely tuned chef team in action. A great experience. Highly recommended.

    This place gone downhill significantly since it was opened. Food is bland, overpriced. We have 2 steaks ordered - both were wrongly cooked. Medium was rare (uncooked), and rare was burnt. Lamb rack had hardly any meet, just fat on it. 44$ for a waffle with roe+butter? Bland menu that has not changed for years. Cocktails served in tiny glasses and also bland and uninteresting. Attention to details is poor - one guy was served stout instead of normal beer, took ages to replace it. Wine on the list was not available, took ages to fetch the other one. They push overpriced French wines (like everywhere in CBD). Wine bottle was always taken away somewhere, which was really annoying. Don't bother with this place.

    Really unusual food. Cabbage entree in particular was delicious. The veggie main course was unusual but for our palate not in a good way. Four star only because of this as the rest of the dishes were sublime.

    We came to celebrate our 19 year anniversary. Aside from them saying “Happy Anniversary” at the entrance and when we got seated, we did not feel like they made our evening any more special than any other regular booking. If you are not going to do or offer anything for a special occasion, then why even ask?! We had the set menu with the optional wine pairing of $85p/p., it started good, then went ok and then it finished strong with a nice dessert. Overall I don’t think I would say it was good value for money; we probably would’ve chosen something else and avoided the set menu, The service was ok, nothing out of the normal you expect from any restaurant. Maybe we are a bit old fashion but we probably wouldn’t form come back given we spent $500 plus $7 for cc surcharge.

    This is our second visit to Freyja and while we love the standard of food the variety is not amazing in that it’s a limited menu which hasn’t really changed after 4 months and there are literally 5 cocktails on the menu. I will and have recommended it to several friends but I think it needs to have a bit more variety on the menu for me to want to come back. If you haven’t been it’s definitely up there as a different type of cuisine to try and the venue is stunning. The staff are polite and attentive so the restaurant has a lot going for it. I did enjoy my experience and will be happy to recommend it but unfortunately that’s kinda where it ends for me.
