   Chef Fuji-San and his wife take you on a magical tour of Japan with seasonal fish, delicious chawanmushi and beautifully curated appetizers. As a gluten free diner, the restaurant reached out to me ahead of time to try and accommodate my allergy and also made a special chawanmushi so that I could truly enjoy the experience. This is a special dining experience and special chef family.

   Chef Fujiwara runs a limited seating omakase sushi bar. His fish comes from Toyosu Fish Market in Japan and is prepared daily. It is absolutely delicious! Chef Fujiwara and his wife are very friendly and sincere. It has been a long time since I sat at a sushi counter and was able to freely chat with the chef as he worked. Dinner there was a wonderful experience. I am saddened that they are closing at the end of June, but I am also hopeful as they are in the process of finding new premises. At the moment, they share space within another Japanese restaurant. They plan to reopen and continue doing omakase. Updates are posted on their Instagram.

   Amazing experience, highly recommend! Chef and his family were wonderful, and the omakase course was high quality and delicious! Will definitely be back.

   Fujiwara exceeded my expectations 10x over. I’ve had omakase around the world and to have one of the best experiences of omakase in my own hometown of Seattle, I was surprised to say the least. It was the clean and fresh yet so flavorful and unique taste of every single fish from each course that really made this omakase experience truly different from others. Thank you Fujiwara for such an amazing experience!

   Amazing omakase experience. The cost was comparable to most omakase experiences. Definitely a once in awhile or special occasion meal. Fuji and his wife were very attentive and took the time to explain each course. Very fresh ingredients. The sake and beer were a bit pricey but paired so well with the food. The restaurant itself can be a little hard to find since they share space with another restaurant and the name "Fujiwara" isn't displayed on the outside of the building. Overall a great experience with great quality food!

   Chef Fujiwara and his wife were personable and informative. The omakase was beautiful and delicious. It’s unfortunate that this was my first omakase experience because my expectations will now be so high for any other omakase experiences. Chef Fujiwara has set a high bar.

   A hidden gem with superb sushi. Chawanmushi was top 5, great fish quality from Japan and intimate dining with the best husband and wife duo.

    It was wonderful experiences with chef fujiwara. Food was fantastic with fujiwara’s description of fish and his wife’s side dishes were very tasty. I thought sharing with table with strangers were a bit comfortable however they were very friendly and had an enjoyable time with them too. Overall his hospitality and humor added to a whole experience.
