   What a pleasant surprise! We're from a place that is known for it's sushi and asian food. Everything we tried was so fresh and exquisitely presented and our server Ricardo was excellent. We've found a new go to restaurant during our trips to Cabo!

   We were really looking forward to our meal at Funk Geisha after reading reviews and the menu. The dishes were described deliciously. The execution of every dish we tried was underwhelming and the overall quality was lacking. The Dragon roles were dry tasteless. The vegetable tempura had few actual vegetables and mostly only onions. The lobster pad Thai was devoid of lobster. The bright spot was the chicken pad Thai, which 2 of 5 family members enjoyed. The service was enthusiastic, but inconsistent. However, the timing of the service of the dishes made no sense. Three of us ordered noodle dishes and sushi rolls. The rolls came first for 2 of us but the pad Thai came first for one of us. One person ordered yellow curry with shrimp but was served yellow curry with chicken and she doesn’t eat meat. We had waited long for food that she decided she didn’t want to wait for the replacement dish. We waited 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive and were served old fashions with more ice than drink. Without ice, our old fashions barely reached two fingers on the glass. Overall, we were disappointed but the staff tried hard to please.

   Worst experience ever. Food took over an hour and forty five minutes and was tiny portions. We stopped by MxDonalds afterwards.

   Inflated pricing for New Years experience. Chaotic experience. Staff were all over the place. Food was presented nicely but kitchen messed up order. Overall disappointing for the money.

   We ate there on New years and the limited menu was very disappointing. I believe they just wanted us out of there.

   We dined here on NYE, with reservations several weeks in advance and Whatsapp conversations with the staff (questions on menu, confirming we would leave by 8pm when the special party started) . The one star is based on a complete bait and switch between our communication prior to our arrival, and our experience dining there. We booked these reservations based on the restaurant's specific offering for vegetarian and vegan dining. I confirmed that this menu would be available for the holiday (understanding that many venues have a special menu). Upon arrival we were given the NYE menu, no vegetarian options, let alone vegan. Our server offered to speak with the manager when I asked if I could still order a vegetarian meal. I was informed the "menu is the menu" but I could have a bowl of noodles, no sauce no vegetables for the same price that they were charging for the the evening's Shrimp Pad Thai, 780 pesos ($37). The management was rude, the food was overpriced, when the kitchen fell behind guests were told they could no longer order food because the kitchen would not be able to get the food out before the special party started.

   I have waited several days to wave this review because I was waiting for a response from the Grupo Rosanegra Restaurant General Manager, Mr. Salazar, but never received a response. We went to Funky Geisha on New Year’s Eve and it was very disappointing. 1. We had a party of 10 people. When I made the reservation one month ago for Funky Geisha, they never informed us it would be a limited menu. The menu was not at all what we anticipated and had limited entrees and sushi rolls. We would NOT have booked this restaurant knowing that. 2. The food was poor. Majority of the group ordered the Mongolian Beef and the bowl was primarily vegetables with very few pieces of beef. 3. Service was slow and inattentive. The waiter twice said he would have his manager come talk to us after we complained about the Mongolian beef. They never did. The entire dinner took 2 hours and 15 minutes and we didn’t even do dessert. We went to three other Grupo Rosanegra Hotels while visiting and spent quite a bit of money with them. Their lack of follow up means they don’t care. Buyer beware!

   Came here to celebrate our anniversary. Easily had one of the worst experience with the service that we’ve ever had. The servers kept us waiting for 45 minutes after placing the order I did not come back to check. Finally we decided to just leave after waiting for an hour for the food after placing in the order. The restaurant was not too crowded. I would say 75% full.

    We booked a large group of 8. Appetizers were excellent and desert was excellent. The main course was good not great. We loved the vibe and service level was great. There has been some excellent places to eat in Cabo and this was good for the price and overall experience.
