Gaba was created by people who love food and all the experiences generated through it. Our main philosophy is continuous transformation, we believe that as we acquire experience and knowledge what we create changes and expands. Our menu does too. We honor the seasons, respecting the cycle of ingredients and source locally, focusing on the quality of the product and the passion of the team that transforms it. Our goal is to be a place where you can experience joyful connection around the table. Our atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, making you feel comfortable and at home. We offer delicious cocktails and a varied and interesting wine selection to compliment your experience. We are also open for morning coffee and breakfast.
Executive Chef & Partner, Victor Toriz has worked throughout his career in Bestia LA and Here's looking at you. He decided to return to Mexico where he worked for Arca Tulum and Emilia CDMX. Gaba is his first project located in Condesa.

    I don’t feel I have adequate enough words to describe how greatly our expectations were exceeded. From the time we walked in the door until we left, there was no detail missed. The food was delicious and well-executed. Every member of the staff that we encountered exuded passion, attentiveness, and an obvious embrace of the experience the chef wants each guest to have. We are already looking forward to returning to CDMX to dine with Gaba again. Bravo Chef Victor and team.

    Overall a good enough experience for a last minute reservation. Beef tartar was a standout. Service was a bit chaotic, plating worked against the dishes, and the menu wasn’t very well balanced (very acidic). SUPER loud. We won’t be back anytime soon, but hope they catch on their stride.

    Fantastic experience. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Every course was delicious. Excellent service and very nice ambiance as well.

    We were in CDMX for a week and had dinner at Gaba twice. After our first visit we knew we had to return and try the rest of the menu. The meal is an experience and the attention to detail starts the second you’re greeted at the door. Thank you Gaba team, your passion really shows!

    The food was stellar. The Sea Bream was cooked to perfection and vegetarian dishes were the best I have eaten. The wines from Mexico are superb! The service is great This is a must visit restaurant in Mexico City!
