   Food was amazing - service was surprisingly, and continuously poor. We had a 6:30 reservation and were told to wait at the bar which we waiting at for more than 20 minutes. During that time we asked the hostess multiple times to sit at the open and set tables. Ultimately, the bar tender took mercy on us and sat us. After that, we couldn’t get menus for the longest time. Finally the wait staff and manager noticed and tried to make up for the bad experience. The food was good but the service made it no longer feel like a luxury experience. To top it off, we had to call later because we left a scarf. I was at first hung up on and then I was told they would return the call regarding the scarf and never heard back.

   Delightful from the minute we walked in. Gave us a lovely table in the corner for our anniversary. Dori, our waiter was charming. Environment was beautiful. Food was excellent especially bronzino and sea bass. Dessert was sublime. We loved the experience and will definitely return.

   Went for restaurant week, Sunday dinner. The restaurant is beautiful but the food was nothing special. The octopus starter was very good but I would say everything else was only okay. The service was friendly and attentive in some ways but also kind of sloppy at times—they tried seating us at a table for 10 because they got my reservation mixed up with another (even though I gave them my very unique last name when checking in), the servers never brought us an item we ordered, they asked if we wanted more bread but then never brought it, etc. We also all thought the music was totally the wrong vibe, kind of clubby which felt really at odds with the ambiance. Don’t think I would go back when there are so many much better restaurants in New York.

    Fabulous, gorgeous restaurant! Would be a stand-out in any neighborhood, but particularly in this neck of the woods where everything feels like a cafeteria. It’s incredibly beautiful, sparkling-clean, with perfect and attentive, polite service and delicious food
