Experience fine Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine at London’s Galata Pera. Right on the River Thames in Brentford, Galata Pera doesn’t mess about when it comes to flavour and insists on only the most authentic tastes of old Istanbul. Enjoy all kinds of marinated meats and curious koftas as well as fresh seafood and some inspired vegetarian options. The moussaka is not to be missed, while the vibrant Turkish salads are light and satisfying. You’ll find Galata Pera on Brentford’s Town Meadow, not too far from the main train station and with the Royal Botanic Gardens of Kew just over the river – wonderful.
