   Under new ownership, the food is great and the service is excellent. Owners show great interest customers. Decent wine list and good selection of beers. Pork chop was very tasty. Nice salads and burgers

   Without question the absolute worst dining experience I've ever had and that includes college dorm cafeterias...at least those were open for dinner. Let me explain...made New years eve reservations approximately 6 weeks prior. Received confirmation of the reservation and several follow up reminders up until the day before NYE. Upon our on time arrival we discovered that the restaraunt was closed...that is closed as in not open. There was no communications about the closure...only confirmations of my reservation. Restaurant is under relatively new ownership so maybe the new owners decided to celebrate their purchase somewhere else. Not sure where the fault lies..in either Open Table or the restaurant...but I would avoid this establishment like the plague. I will post a followup if I ever hear back from the new owners but I wouldn't stay glued to this review as my expectations are not very high... To be fore told is to be fore warned..

   We booked the reservation only to show up to find the restaurant closed. We were trying to have dinner before a concert and had no other options. We did find someplace to grab something to eat but were late to the concert. We have been to the Gateway Grille before and have not had this issue. I understand it changed ownership and hope this is not a sign of things to come.

   Our Open Table reservation was confirmed and no further notice or communication occurred. When we arrived at the restaurant with visiting out of town friends, the restaurant was closed for remodeling. We drove in a snow storm to get there and the only place in town we could eat was at a burger joint. Very unhappy with both the restaurant and Open Table for accepting our reservation in the first place and not notifying us of the 4 month remodel. Thumbs down to both.

   Gateway Grill has been our neighborhood "go to" for great food and casual atmosphere for the last 3 years. It's changed ownership during that period, but hasn't dampened our enjoyment a bit! Started with the artichoke dip with wonderful homemade croutons, I had baby back ribs, he had fish and chips. Both were well worth 'stuffing' ourselves and the following food coma. Spoiler alert, the portions are VERY large (better than half my ribs came home). With both tables and booths, we love the booths as they're very tall backed and offer some privacy. The restaurant doesn't actually get all that noisy, but for those with hearing issues, to be able to block out some background noise, the evening is much less work and wonderfully more pleasant.

   The Resturant is in transition so understandable they have challenges however special was prime rib and they ran out

   We have eaten at the Gateway many times and we like it. This time, however, our guests were disappointed with some of the menus choices they made.

    I’ve enjoyed the Gateway Grille a couple of times before. Each time is as good as the last! The food is superb and beautifully presented, the wait staff are charming and friendly. The back patio in the summer season is reminiscent of a quiet restaurant in Italy or France; the inside dining is quaint and comfortable. I’ve only had the prime rib and blackened rib eye but the crusted and seared Ahi was beautiful and reportedly delicious.
