   For whatever reason, my friends had been here and I was the last one to know about it. I will definitely be back and be bringing more friends. Everything was excellent and cooked to perfection. Portion sizes are great for the price point. PLEASE ORDER THE SHAREABLE BISCUITS! There are so many other menu items that I want to return for. Great service and a wonderful time!    Lori was our waitress. She is phenomenal very personable and professional. Will 100% make you smile! Food is fabulous and plentiful great to share if you have small plates syndrome or if not amazing size for taking home leftovers. Oysters on a half shell shucked fresh to order. Biscuits like a southern grandma makes, with different flavors spreads! If you haven’t tried this before you should venture out and give yourself a true treat! Lori and staff keep up the excellent work! We will be back!

   Already planning when we'll go back. Hands down my new favorite fried chicken. The meat was so tender! Don't sleep on the collards, the flavor was so rich. The gumbo was delicious, with plenty of crab and a dark, complex roux. The biscuits rounded everything off perfectly. Service was prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly. The noise level was easy for conversations, atmosphere comfortable and laid back. I appreciate the local beer selections. 🙌

   First time visiting and it was amazing! Our waitress was very nice and efficient and our food was great! I had the fried chicken with macaroni and cheese and brussel sprouts; my husband had the catfish and shrimp! Everything was delicious, battered and fried to perfection. Can’t wait to go back!

   Amazing lunch dining experience. Loved the restaurant interior design. Staff were very friendly. Laurie is a ray of sunshine and such a blessing. She made sure the kitchen crew was aware of my husband's seafood allergy. The food was beautifully plated and delicious. The bacon jam with the not my mama's biscuits was so good! Next trip I'm traveling to Houston I will be back!

    Loved the friendly, relaxed service from the ladies that work there. We were a table of first-timers and they made sure we didn’t miss the biscuits with all 3 spreads, also steering us towards the delicious and meaty triple fin as well as some great specials for earlier days in the week. The 5pc fried chicken special definitely is on my to-do list. The gumbo was flavor-packed if maybe a tad salty with ample sausage and fresh shrimp. The oyster po-boy was crispy and saucy with a perfectly toasted baguette. Love the casual vibe and elevated southern fare. Looking forward to going back again soon
