   The food was very good and the ambience is very cozy. They had live music on Thursday night while we were there and it was amazing. Sean Jones with a great voice

   The room is beautiful with comfortable seating and interesting decor living up to the Gatsby name. Service was fantastic and food was very good. Almond French toast was very unique and tasty. Organic eggs + bacon was very good. I had the eggs Benny with peameal and it was also good. The only complaint was portion size. The restaurant could include more toast or home fries to make it more fulfilling. I left still hungry even after finishing my kids scraps that they didn’t finish.

   Experienced the Easter Brunch in the courtyard. It was absolutely delicious and service was wonderful. The hotel is such a dream and looking so divine. Had a wonderful experience today.

   Birthday dinner and amazing show Juno award winning singer. Perfect timing & lovely night. Dining, cocktails & dance dj & live music couldn't ask for more.

   The place is really nice and comfortable although why a place called Gatsbys would have an Italian menu? The wait person and apparently bartender were taken a bit by surprise that a gin Martini required dry vermouth - he came to the table to make sure we didn't actually want sweet vermouth before they had to go to the storeroom to see if they actually had any dry vermouth. A long wait later they found some. Then, they had to go in search (back to the storeroom) of the key ingredient for the featured house mocktail. When ordering our food we were asked whether we wanted our carpaccio well done or medium! The food itself was good, but not special. We had to send the soggy French fries back. Overall, at the generous "fine dining" prices, there is really no reason to go there. Sadly, because it's such an iconic building and a really evocative name (but not for an Italian restaurant). It's probably a really nice meeting place for drinks after work. But not for dinner.

   The food was not good which was very disappointing given the exorbitant price point. Both lamb rack (medium) and steak striploin (medium rare) were underdone. They were audio testing during our visit and had a lot of feedback screeching on the speakers. Does not compare to other high end restaurants, you should skip.

    I will start by saying I don’t believe our experience will be everyone’s experience. I will add the ambiance is great, it is is a beautiful building. The food was plated nicely but for the cost did not taste high quality. We initially had fair seats, the live music wasn’t visible, the manager without prompt asked if we would like to move and placed us in what I believe were the best seats in the restaurant. It is unfortunate that from that point our service was quite poor. We had ordered drinks and had water before we moved seats, our starter and main course both came before water was given (on our request) and our drinks we also had to request again. Next to us was a table that arrived after us and received their drinks and each course far before us, it was quite easy for the waiter to see we had no water, the amount of times he was standing right in front of our table serving another couple. I understand Valentine’s Day is busy, but our dinner was late in the evening and it was more than manageable for the staff I saw present. The issue was mis management and the visible arguments the staff was having. Staff were annoyed while serving us and mentioned they were being “sabotaged” by other staff. I was there to enjoy a relaxing evening, not to be involved in politics of the staff. When our drinks finally came, my partners was very good, she enjoyed it. Mine however had no alcohol. When I complained about the service, a different manger, went to the bar shouted at our intial server before we moved seats, a black woman and not either of the two white males serving our current area. When I walked to him and corrected his mistake he lied to me “I was not shouting at her.” The experience unfortunately was quite bad. I was annoyed that staff was disrespectful to each other in earshot of customers. I was disappointed seeing a table right in front of us getting fair service while our was so poor. I was offered a free drink, declined. I will not be going back.
