We had a reservation for 730. We sat down around 830. They did apologize and bring around glasses of champagne for us and the other couple waiting . They also offered us an appetizer on the house however it ended up being on our check . The food was just okay. We sent back the macaroni and cheese as it was soupy. My husband had the waygu steak. He said it was good. I had the fried chicken and it was just okay, nothing special. I’ve heard great things about this restaurant so I was very disappointed . Maybe it was an off night but I wouldn’t come back .

So I’m inclined to think maybe they just had an off day. First we were not seated until about 30 minutes after our reservation. ( We were offered a bar table earlier but declined). But Saturday night so, what can you do. Secondly, while our server was really nice service was a bit slow. Took a while to just get an iced tea. She seemed to have alot of tables. It was not the dedicated service you might expect but it was by no means unacceptable. The food. We had three appetizers. Bone marrow, viet cajun oysters, and the crab cake. All three VERY good! Our entrees were..meh. I had the fried chicken. It was fine. Green beans were great. Dirty rice a no. My husband had the porterhouse. It was fine. Was not at ALL a fan of the Mac and cheese. Fire alarm went off but I won’t hold that against them. It’s a lovely place though and I’m inclined to try again perhaps. It didn’t match up with the reviews I read but that happens

Awful. Hostess (short, glasses, brown hair) was extremely rude, sarcastic, disrespectful on numerous occasions. Ruined the entire evening to the extent that we decided to leave after being seated without having dinner. As we left, on our way out the door she continued her provocation, as she smugly commented "adios". Awful.

Neither steak was cooked to temp. Wait staff was incredible. I miss the butter/talow candle

Our waiter Ivan was awesome. Very knowledgeable, attentive to our needs as it was our first time at restaurant. Overall customer service was outstanding.

Excellent food, very attentive staff, and some excellent jazz music, although it was a little bit loud. Prices were strong, possibly putting a bit of a dent in the value metric, but possibly not.

Ivan was amazing! His recommendations far exceeded my expectations. The entire staff was very attentive. Will visit again soon to see the rooftop and live music.
