   Great food, good service! A bit noisy! There were several larger parties that made the main dining room a little crowded for the smaller tables. Looking forward to another visit soon.

   The food was delicious. I got the rigatoni and arancini for an appetizer. You can’t go wrong with either of those choices. However, I froze in the restaurant. Every time someone opened the door, a big draft was let in. When I asked the hostess if we could move to a different table, I was told no because those tables were for bigger parties. I was quite disappointed to see a party of 2 seated at the larger sized table a few moments later. Be prepared to wear your coat during dinner.

   The appetizers were prepared with care and were very flavorful. The entrees were also prepared expertly. The tiramasu was a fantastic end to a lovely meal.

   This was our first time there and it was quite chilly being the coldest night of the year and unfortunately it didn’t warm up much in the restaurant. I realize the temperatures are very hard to regulate in cold weather. The service was excellent and it was not crowded so it was quiet. The three of us went for the restaurant week menu and two of us had meatballs and I had the Arancini. It was quite good but unfortunately not hot enough in the center; but the meatballs were very well done and hot; probably the better choice in this case. Although I did reheat my leftover Arancini at home in the air fryer the next day and they were much better. For the main course two of us had pappardelle bolognese and our other friend had the rigatoni with vodka sauce. She remarked that it was quite spicy and would not order it again because of that. My other friend’s pappardelle was to her liking. For me there was a certain spice that ran through all of the meat sauces including the appetizers that I did not care for. I cannot put my finger on what it was but it was everywhere. I wish that the sauces didn’t all have exactly the same seasoning component. Because of this it would make it hard for me to know what to order the next time unless it was something that was not a red sauce. For dessert we had a choice of gelato or tiramisu and we all chose the tiramisu. It was definitely the star of the evening and extremely tasty and a very nice size portion. I would actually order that again and I am not necessarily a fan of tiramisu because of the coffee flavoring but it was subtle in this dish. We agreed that we would definitely return because we would like to try their pizza which is the Neapolitan style. And we know they’re just starting out and we want to see restaurants in Aurora succeed. It definitely is a nice space with very friendly service and for those reasons we will definitely go back and try some of their other offerings.

   Really great space with a nicely varied menu at fair prices. Both our dishes were pretty heavy on the garlic, but very tasty. The only thing that needs to be tightened up is getting entrees delivered to entire tables at the same time.

   When deciding on this restaurant, I read the reviews - most are very good and typically, some are over the top negative. I will say that there are some accurate comments, but you have to sift through them for the truth. The food tasted delicious but the portions are on the small side when compared to a typical Italian restaurant. The decor is very nice and comfortable but on a cold night you could really feel it every time the door was opened. Our server was pleasant at all times and very prompt early on but then disappeared for 15 minutes when we had finished our meals. Overall we enjoyed Giordinos and will certainly return again to enjoy the delicious food.

    This dining experience was wonderful. We had three in our party and everyone enjoyed their food. The eggplant parmesan was excellent and we loved the cookie gelato for dessert. The service was great...we had a very special server...very attentive and very personable. I highly recommend Giardino's and will definitely be back soon.
