Experience the finest seafood, fresh sumptuous chilled oysters, large choice of the freshest fish, and Gibbys’ expertly aged delectable steaks, cooked to perfection.     The service was slow and we waited for a long time for our main course. The service was a lot better in the past. The food wasn’t hot. I had ordered a cake for our anniversary and the waiter said that they weren’t notified. He did bring the cake but only because I asked which was also disappointing.

    Gibbys phenomenal as always and continues to set the standard for excellence I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Chef Giovanni and Junior Chef Marcello for the past 16 years, and it’s been incredible to see their dedication to their craft. Chef Giovanni and Junior Chef Marcello have created a dining experience that is both refined and approachable, making it an unforgettable evening. The service was equally remarkable, with a knowledgeable and attentive staff that ensured every need was met. It was evident that the team shares the chefs’ passion for providing an outstanding dining experience, and it truly felt like a celebration of the restaurant’s long-standing history. If you’re looking for a dining experience that combines top-tier cuisine with genuine hospitality, this is the place to be. I’m already looking forward to my next visit! Highly recommended.

    Manager, Adil, ruined the experience, sad to see Gibbys come to this. Took 4 attempts to cook my steak and couldn’t get it right. Embarrassing.

    Great place, attentive service but waiters are too busy almost running all over the place. My filé mignon was good but burned in the outside, as if cooked in a hotter than needed parilla. Prices are a bit excessive to what you get.

    Not what it used to be…, the Gibby’s salad is a huge downgrade from the original recipe and I can’t believe they removed the key lime pie for a lemon tart when the key lime was the best in the city .

    Very good restaurant. Good experience, attentive staff, tasty steak, excellent desserts. Steak was cooked to perfection. Overall great experience and would recommend.

    Tammy was the highlight of our experience. She was professional, engaging and intuitive. She quickly identify our style of dining and made our evening an experience. The sommelier was lovely as well. We love Gibby’s and look forward to visiting ever time we are in Montreal.
