Giorg is a casual fine dining Italian restaurant that has been a pillar of food and service in Thunder Bay for over 30 years. White linens, amazing wines, beautiful food are always enhanced by the care, passion, and attention to detail carried out by the service staff. With over 50 years of combined experience in the dining room, we strive to leave our guests with a lasting memory. Our chef is inspired by the changing flavours of the season and works with products from local farms and purveyors to create our seasonal menu options. Our pasta is made fresh in-house, the traditional way, by extracting it through a bronze die. Whether celebrating a milestone or celebrating Friday night, we will make sure your night is memorable!

Giorg has two private rooms that are available to book for your next event. Our larger room seats 20 people and our smaller room can seat up to 14 people. We offer a variety of menu options for groups, including the very popular family style dinner menu, a plated dinner menu and cocktail party options. Wifi access and a projection screen are available for presentations. With a group of 40 or larger we can also reserve the main dining room area. We always feel special going to Giorgio’s for supper. Jacob who greeted us at the door was very welcoming and took our coats and escorted us right to our table. Our waitress Marie was super friendly, and gave excellent recommendations for appetizers, salad and our main courses. Everything was super fresh, delicious and not overly salted which we appreciate. Special thanks to the Kitchen team for your tremendous food prepararion! Our desserts were amazing as well with great attention to detail and flavor. Marie and Jacob really looked after us and made us feel special. We also liked that this restaurant tries to source local ingredients and products. Thank-you for a memorable evening! This is by far the best restaurant in Thunder Bay for food and service. We were so impressed that we made a reservation for our next visit before we left! If you have a hot date you want to impress take them here. The ambiance was amazing, the food was amazing, the desert was amazing! I took my fiancée here to celebrate our anniversary. We will be returning in the future.

Service, food was absolutely amazing. Wasn’t too loud! Enjoyed our evening and can’t stress enough how top notch the service and flavours were! Will be share my experience with friends and family!
