   Normally always get an amazing meal but this time the chicken on my burger was chewy and tough, everything else was good but was disappointed with the food this time.

   Why a famously rock n roll bar on a busy Saturday night would have a bland guy and acoustic guitar play bland music 2 ft away from diners with no escape. Completely ruined the vibe of a usually great place. The music is part of what makes it special. I ended up putting my loops in to try and drown it out. I'd go back for the food, but I'll check in future if they have live music instead of their usual rock hits.

   Brilliant as always and great before an event at hampden. Great Gluten Free menu too. They do state risk of contamination but do give confidence and food was served separately.

   Staff lovely, music just at the right loud level for an older couple, good tunes, some food good, some not so good. Better presentation needed of the chips round my burger (the King, excellent) and they ain’t really Chinese fries with no spices. Could have been fewer chips, which needed more frying to be crispier, and l’d have had more space to eat the damned thing! (I like plates because I am middle aged, but will take a box if I can get to the scran: it was difficult.) Cauliflower bites had too much sauce that was crazy crazy hot, certainly put on less… and perhaps offer it separately? Mac cheese a success as were the sweet potato fries.

   The food, as always, was excellent value for money. The portions are generous and the flavours are great. We love the fact that lots of hot sauces are available to try as we are both chilli-heads. Beer (Salt brewery 'Alpaca-Lypse' IPA) was a great accompaniment to the food. The staff were very attentive and friendly and made us feel quite at home. We will be back. :-)
