Glass Brasserie is an eloquent, lofty restaurant and wine bar with panoramic views overlooking Sydney's historic Queen Victoria Building. Under the culinary guidance of head chef Natalie Murphy, the Glass team dreams up honest, simple culinary experiences that celebrate the finest seasonal produce in imbued flavour.

The brasserie-style menu is designed to take guests on a journey, losing themselves in the enclaves of the restaurant's ambiance, flavours and character. Glass boasts one of Sydney's most comprehensive wine lists, curated by Head Sommelier, Mauro Bortolato for almost two decades. The 3,500 strong collection is encased in a striking wine wall that spans floor to ceiling through the space. Designed by renowned interior designer, Tony Chi, the restaurant's interior exudes equal party's intimacy and grandeur with it's ambient open-plan kitchen and expansive day-to-night dining experiences.

    This is generally a fabulous restaurant. Unfortunately on this occassion we were very disappointed. We were charged for a bottle of very expensive wine that upon tasting we immediately said was not right. Wrong food orders. Wait staff were however fabulous.

    Disappointed. Table was wobbly and had a cork placed under it, which kept falling out. I had to keep getting up and touching a dirty cork and replacing it. Staff seemed disinterested in changing tables. Tables placed so closely together that the gentleman next to me would have been no more than shoulder width away. Therefore no privacy in our conversations whatsoever. Pork cutlet was dry. Steak and mash was very good. At a wine bar I would have expected to still taste the wine prior to the pour even if just buying by the glass. After our meal the people next to us left. The head waiter came over and started spraying the table with spray and wipe which also sprayed onto our table - luckily we had finished eating. We stayed at the Hilton and chose to eat at the restaurant based on reputation and our love of wine. However, we won’t be back for the wine, food or service.

    Beautiful experience. The staff were amazing. Very attentive without being in your face. Food and wine amazing. It was very noisy but understand it is Christmas. Also what a venue and our view was stunning. Nothing like our beautiful Queen Victoria building.

    The service was beyond exceptional! And the food... AMAZING! I honestly can't recommend thus place highly enough! Was an absolutely wonderful experience and one I plan to make a Christmas tradition going forward x Thank you for a wonderful afternoon

    I love the Express Lunch here. Always good value, great view and a way to impress your guests, clients or visitors to Sydney. The food is great, and the service is formal and they do not rush you through the meal.

    The ambience is excellent, tho it is noisy. The food was good, but was ‘safe’, it wasn’t to the excitement level I expected from a hatted restaurant. Table service was just adequate although we had to ask for the sommelier to attend to our wine selection.
