Golden Bear Station is a New American restaurant that offers a unique perspective through the lens from the owners of Animo and Mu Ramen.

Mu Ramen and Animo owners Joshua Smookler and Heidy He have received exceptional recognition, including a prestigious 2-star review from the New York Times in 2015. The New York Times also dubbed them as the best ramen in NYC, while Eater named them the best ramen in America in 2016. We were there for a special occasion, it was my wife's birthday and the meal was everything we could have possibly wanted. We seated immediately and from there everything just kept getting better. We split a salad that we enjoyed very much and then we each had a different pasta entree and both were absolutely delicious. The entrees were so good that I thought about ordering one more of each to take home for the next nights dinner. We both had a piece of the fabulous cheese cake for dessert. All said and done - can't wait to go back and probably order the same things.

Golden Bear keeps elevating! It’s always been so wonderful and yet, they continue to refine and tweak in delightful ways. As ever, the food was extraordinary - spicy tuna is perfect. The white asparagus completely gorgeous and delectable. Spanish egg toast was perfect. As were the lamb and the cacio e pepe. Perfect wines to accompany it all, with delightful, warm hospitality. And the space is even lovelier. Thank you Golden Bear!

Golden Bear Station is an absolute gem in Kenwood! We had an amazing dinner here, and I can’t recommend it enough. The pizza was absolutely delicious! Perfectly crisp crust with fresh, yummy toppings. We tried the Margarita and the Hot Honey pizza, and the balance of sweet and spicy was spot-on. Loved the Ceaser lettuce cups and the house white wine was a perfect paring! Golden Bear Station is a must visit spot! Can’t wait to come back again. Thank you Heidy & Joshua!
