   The overall experience at the Goldener Hirsch was enjoyable. The ambiance truly captures the essence of Austria, making it feel authentic and inviting. The staff was attentive, though a bit chaotic at times, which seems typical for restaurants in Park City. The Wiener Schnitzel ($68) was flavorful, but the cut was slightly too thick—just a bit more attention to detail could elevate it further. A standout highlight was the beer being served in a Goldener Hirsch Stein, which added a charming touch to the experience. However, it was disappointing that they didn’t offer any authentic Austrian Schnaps, such as Williams Birne or Marille.

   The service, atmosphere and food can’t be beat. The entire experience is so Austrian and authentic. Highly recommend.

   Overall great experience. We went with kids and everyone loved the fondue. Entrees and wine selection were both fantastic. Will definitely come back.

    BAD FOOD! The schnitzel was dry. Chicken schnitzel even worse, neither tasted like schnitzel. The only thing I can recommend there at this point is the alcohol. I don’t know if there’s a new chef, but the quality of the food from last year to this year is like night and day. I was so excited to bring several of my friends there, and unfortunately, every single person had a bad meal and looked at me like I was crazy to bring them. When we brought one issue to the waiters attention he said the manager didn’t think there was a problem so we didn’t bother to elaborate on the extent of the bad meals we were served. Then when I called a few days later to talk to the general manager about it, he said they try to deal with things on the spot. Unfortunately, when we told them that night, they didn’t want to deal with it on the spot so I don’t know where the disconnect is. It is very unfortunate for a restaurant of that caliber to serve such poor quality food and then on top of it, not having customer service available to assist correcting those problems. I got a call from the manager and was offered a free schnitzel if I go back, I told the manager I don’t have anybody that will go back there after the last experience. If they would have attempted anything to try to correct the issues we could’ve solved it right at the table that night, but unfortunately, that is not what happened.

   Our friends from FL joined us for 3 days of skiing in Deer Valley, then my brother from FL surprised us by showing up to ski with us for 2 days. The night he spent with us, I wanted to have a very special dinner, so I booked the Restaurant at the Goldener Hirsch. After a little confusion about the first bottle of wine we ordered, the rest of the evening far exceeded my expectations. Everything was perfect from the service to the food to the beverages and the entire ambience of the restaurant. I'm not sure when we'll return to Deer Valley as we enjoy skiing throughout the Western area of North America, but when we do return to Deer Valley (probably after the entire East Village expansion is completed), we will definitely return to enjoy a fabulous dinner at the Goldener Hirsch.

    Es un restaurante muy bonito, el fondue es delicioso, te insisten en los acompañamientos de carne/camaron pero no te advierten que pedir mas de uno es un exceso. Toda la comida es general es deliciosa. Nuestro único "pero" fue que íbamos con nuestras hijas (ambas mayores de edad) pero como una de ellas solo llevaba la identificación mexicana (INE) y no su pasaporte, se negaron a servirle un cocktail o vino aunque llevábamos la copia del pasaporte en el teléfono.
