While the price was competitive, the food was terrible. The food was cold and tasteless. There was no table service for drinks and the cost of drinks at the walkup bar were very high, $17.00 for a mimosa, which most buffets offer as complimentary. All in all, not a good experience, we will not be back.

First year that Thanksgiving dinner was in the ballroom. For $160, you’d think you would get drinks. But no, you don’t. All the past years, when dinner was served at The Watering Hole, non-alcohol drinjs were included. The spread this year was different, it was less offerings and just wasn’t the same as the past years. Too bad.

The food quality and selection were outstanding. Every dish was meticulously prepared. The facility is what it is. Until management decides to renovate, the ambiance will suffer. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Staff wore different uniforms and colors. A bit of coordination in dress would increase the feeling and spirit of the experience. Better signage would help. No one in our party could easily find the venue, requiring staff assistance to guide us. All in all, a positive experience.

What a treat for Thanksgiving!!! We live in the neighborhood and reserved a time, walked over and really enjoyed the food! It was hot and delicious! So many choices! It was a little chilly in the grand ballroom next time I’ll wear a jacket. You called it the Grand Ballroom but there was not a single sign outdoors that indicated you were at the right place. That was a bummer because all the signs have Arizona related names and nothing says GRAND! And of course we went to several areas of the resort looking for the GRAND ballroom. I think you can do better for next year and prepare better entry signage. Or decorate the double glass doors with a welcome sign. Lastly a larger table for desserts would look prettier.

The food was cold and appeared to be sitting there for hours. When asked about warming food we were told we just lit the warmers. The nuggets on kids buffet were not edible among many other things. The desserts appeared to be frozen or Sysco pies. Very disappointed given the cost of $69 per person.

This place is a joke.... Mother’s Day 2024 First of all, the place looks like it's only halfway ready to receive customers. There is no decoration on the walls just an empty ball room. At the price of $70pp + drinks + tip = 125pp brunch buffet was crap. Food all cold in sterno’s potatoes, bacon, breakfast, sausage and toast was in a warmer!!!!! WTF. Best part of this was the carving station/omelette station at least that was somewhat hot staff clearing plates without people being finished, putting silverware on chairs where people had just sat. Staff look like they did not feel like being there on Mother’s Day. This is a special day for families to take our moms out and celebrate them on a special day. Despite we should celebrating them every single day. I’ve been in the restaurant business for 30 years in Chicago. Fine dining, white tablecloth Michelin award winning restaurants and by far this is the most disappointing restaurant I’ve ever been in.

We eat out daily, and we love supporting local restaurants. We received an email for Mother's Day brunch at the Grand Ballroom at the Peak. Having never been there, we thought we'd try it. We were looking for a buffet style, higher end, brunch for the special occasion. It was a bit difficult finding the ballroom since it wasn't in the Grand Ballroom, but that was not an issue. All the staff was very friendly and helpful as we paid up front and then were escorted to our table in the ballroom. The ballroom was set up with so many tables, and we arrived at 10:30am. There were about 10 other parties there at the time. The food was arranged with an omelet station, along with a kid's section, a desert section, and a row of hot and cold foods. There were a few salads, pretty drenched in dressing, fresh fruit, smoked salmon, baked salmon, mashed potatoes, bacon, sausage, eggs, etc etc. What was disappointing is that there was not anything special..no seafood, no shrimp or crab legs, etc. For $75 plus tax and tip, making it $90/person, we had a party of 4. So $380 for one plate of breakfast foods basically. A meal at most breakfast places in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area would be significantly less, with much better food and assortment. Very disappointed for what it was, and I kept apologizing to our guests who we invited.
