Grand Concourse offers a stunning dining experience in a historic train station setting by the Monongahela River. Known for its "exceptional dining experience" and "amazing food," the brunch buffet is a favorite, featuring stations with fresh waffles and prime rib. While service can be inconsistent, the restaurant remains a Pittsburgh tradition worth visiting.

It was crowded for Sunday Brunch, especially for a cold, snowy January Sunday. Seemed to be a little under-staffed. Food was good as always. In the ladies room, two of the five stalls were out of order, which created a line. Wasn't my best visit but was still fun and good food.

The service was awesome and the green concourse beautiful..I’m not much of a buffet girl but decided to try..the food is amazing and lots of it to choose from! I don’t like mixing but I tried a little of all..only thing want to mention, the shrimp was good but would have been better if u can take off the shell!!! No one wants to put their hands in their mouth after touching the handles of the food towel off the shell! Thankyou!

All you can eat gets new meaning at The Sunday Buffet. Selections includes smoked salmon, a roast beef station, shrimp, mussels and everything wonderful to feed your soul and your body. And the standard bacon and eggs line also has shrimp an grits, biscuits and gravy and everything in between. Fresh fruits and salads are plentiful Dessert stations pop up everywhere. And the donut machine never gets tired of cranking out fresh ones. One suggestion--if you are looking for bread rather than muffins or crackers, a glass bagel and bread case sits right next to the donut machine in the back of the Gandy Dancer space. I just discovered that today. And for such a busy busy place, everything runs smoothly. Service is gracious and attentive. We visit frequently and always take out-of-towners here when they are visiting. "

A completely enjoyable experience. We have enjoyed every meal we’ve eaten here and the setting and service are top notch. Definitely pricey but as close to worth it as any fine dining experience could be. Outstanding.

I genuinely don’t like to complain about restaurants, but our experience yesterday at the Grand Concourse was not good. Our waitress seemed very rushed and generally uninterested in us. We did the restaurant week specials. My Parmesan crusted sole was breaded fish like a fish stick. It could have been a little fresher too. My boyfriend liked the duck he ordered. The apple pie ice cream was delicious and the cheesecake was warm. I had only been to the Grand Concourse for brunch before this and probably will stick to brunch.
