   Our waitress Toni did an awesome job with our group. We told her we were celebrating a graduation and she made sure she brought a plate with a dessert and the writing that said congratulations.

   Our Oriental chicken salads arrived and there was no chicken in the salad. I did contain lots of lettuce and HUGE chunks of cucumber. But not what we ordered.

   I have now been to this location of Granite City several times. This was the quietest time yet, Memorial Day Weekend. Great service by their entire crew. We had a reservation time, arrived early and they sat us right now. Oh yeah, the Prime Rib on the Brunch Buffet is worth the trip alone. They always have the nicest people behind that station, just eager to be helpful. Of course, it was quiet in there yesterday, which was fine with me. Having worked in retail for more than 25 years, I know the business model of a holiday weekend. Cut back on the staff because it will be quieter, and ride it out if it is busier than you planned for, which of course means, the staff are still racing around, just in a quieter room.

   My family and I had Mother's Day brunch here today. It was wonderful. I was handed a flower when we arrived. The food and service were fantastic.

   The food wasn't great. Definitely not $35 per person worth. The prime rib was so rare making it hard to eat. The french toast area was a disaster. It should've been in the main buffet line. Every time I went up to get more, they didn't have them replaced fast enough and the options were empty. The pasta/tortellini was good, but the rest was just okay. The omelet station was okay. The guy making the omelet was watching something on his phone the entire time and didn't pay attention to what he was doing for most of it. I don't think we will come back for the buffet again. Definitely was not worth the cost.

    Dinner for a group of 10. All our food came out at the same time, which is rare with a group this big. Great value.
